Rush 24/7 Morning Update: Inflicting Pain
RUSH: A study conducted by economists at the University of Washington confirms what everybody knew, except the left. Instead of helping workers, the minimum wage increase hurt them.

RUSH: Time for the audio sound bites of Phil Donahue. I promised this yesterday.
RUSH: He's in the biggest excrement storm within left-wing PC circles today that you can imagine.
RUSH: The flaw is the CBO's never gonna score anything favorable for the Republicans. What if McConnell can expose that, though? What if the Trojan bill exposes that the CBO is not nonpartisan?
RUSH: When you're trying to make something out of nothing, nothing is still what you have. And they don't have anything. Their primary premise, they have nothing. And yet they're totally devoted to it, the media, I mean.
RUSH: If any of you out there are running the public beta version of iOS 11, it was released yesterday. Not the developer version; developers are on beta 2. If you're running the public beta version, beta 1, iOS 11, would you please call Mr. Snerdley and tell him what the version number is?
RUSH: CNN producers know that the Russia coverage at the Fake News Network is nothing more than ostensibly for their ratings and feeding their base and hopefully increased ad revenues as a result.
RUSH: John Solomon, Sara Carter. They're doing some of the greatest journalism, I mean just straight down the middle journalism that anybody is doing today. Solomon's a former AP reporter and a former editor at the Washington Times. The headline of the story: "Did the FBI Retaliate Against Michael Flynn by Launching Russia Probe?"
RUSH: Now, this is a classic illustration of being on the cutting edge of societal evolution. Yeah, soccer as a dangerous sport, soccer putting your kids at risk for concussion. We warned you about this 25 years ago.
RUSH: This is the establishment in Washington full frontal admitting that Trump is not sophisticated enough, he doesn't fit in with the aristocracy the nation's capital.
RUSH: My opening monologue featured my recollection of thoughts over the weekend about how the momentum might be shifting here. That we may be approaching that moment in time where the left has shot its wad, so to speak. They've shot everything they've got at Trump and Trump's still there and the momentum is starting to turn.
RUSH: The CBO score of the Senate health care bill said yesterday that 22 million people would lose their health insurance. Twenty-two million would lose their insurance. And, of course, the response to this has been predictable. This is akin to saying that a thousand prisoners who escape are now homeless. Do you think the prisoners care? They just got out of prison, they just escaped but we're gonna call 'em homeless because they're not in prison anymore.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
