Mudd is the former deputy director of the CIA Counterterrorist Center, and this is the sound bite I referenced earlier where… It really is pretty much encapsulated. You can hear everything in this one sound bite. This is exactly what we’ve been saying since the Trump transition: The deep state is out to get Trump, and the more he irritates ’em, the harder they’re gonna work trying to get rid of him.

MUDD: The FBI people, I’m gonna tell you, are ticked! And they’re gonna be saying — I guarantee it — “You think you can push us off this, because you can try to intimidate the director? You better think again, Mr. President! You’ve been around for 13 months. We’ve been around since 1908. I know how this game’s gonna be played. We’re gonna win.”

RUSH: Now, what is this guy describing? This guy’s describing an effort being engaged in by some in the FBI, some throughout the intelligence community to “get” the duly elected president — and the more he resists, the more they’re gonna rev up. This is a law enforcement agency, the FBI, out pursuing bad guys and crime. It’s exactly what I meant about the corruption of these institutions that’s taking place because the left has taken over them.
