Get Ready for the Return of Barry O
RUSH: We’re nearing that time where Barry O will be unable to avoid the appeal of the cameras. We’re getting very, very near the point where that prediction that I made is going to happen.

No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.

RUSH: Mr. Pod here thinks there is legitimate reason for disliking Trump, one we better hear. We better understand this. We better not pooh-pooh this. We better not chalk this up to kookism or kookery. This is serious, and he means politically.
RUSH: Everybody thinks they can do it, obviously.
I think back to all of the people during the campaign, “He’s not gonna do it! He can’t build a wall. Come on, Rush, get serious!”
RUSH: Tucker Carlson, he's doubled the ratings at nine o'clock in the 25-54 demographic, somebody just mentioning that to me here in the break. And I said pay him $25 million a year. That's the going rate.
RUSH: Everybody in the construction industry knows that every construction job is temporary! In other words, there's no news here, and there wouldn't be anywhere near this kind of a story associated with any initiative of Barack Obama or the Democrat Party.
RUSH: You could have just an endless parade of human debris out there wearing white coats, and people would think, "Wow, it's a bunch of scientists!" I'll tell you the risk they're running, and it may not be a big one given the neophyte knowledge that so many low-information people have. But they're gonna be admitting that science is now political.
RUSH: Trump, who is not from the political world but is from the business world and The Art of the Deal, the art of the repeal, the art of negotiation, has had to develop superior skills and techniques. And I think he's running rings around these people. And the thing that I offered yesterday is an explanation for all of this focus on voter fraud, 'cause it worked. I mean, it was magical.
RUSH: If there are not alternative facts, why are there so many news outlets out there? In fact, just look at the Drive-Bys. Why do we even have ABC, CBS, NBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN? Why do we have 'em? If everything is supposed to be the same, why all these different networks?

In December 2015, San Francisco resident Pedro Figueroa-Zarceno reported his car stolen. When he came for the police report, Immigration and Customs Enforcement was notified. Because Pedro is here illegally from El Salvador.
Well, Democrat senators are already coming unglued over the Trump administration’s planned spending cuts. TheHill.com calculates that there could be $10 trillion dollars of cuts over ten years.
CALLER: As a woman, I feel embarrassed and degraded by the picture of the American woman that the media is presenting to the world right now through their inordinate coverage of the women's march.
RUSH: They will not let go of it. They are demanding evidence. They are demanding an investigation. They're demanding that Trump back it up. They're demanding that Spicer back it up.
RUSH: The Trump mantra or his campaign slogan is, "You don't think I meant it? I meant it." Everything he said so far on the campaign trail he is acting on exactly as he said he was going to act on it.
CALLER: I've been listening to you for the last maybe nine months and I've become somewhat of an authority around my house. And it's just been really eye opening. You have really schooled me in the art of speaking politics and breaking things down.
RUSH: The American people, for the longest time, bit their tongues and went along with all these silly ideas that we're racist and sexist and bigoted. And all those things are techniques whereby the left can divide people and primarily dispirit people like you, depress people like you into giving up, thinking you've lost your country, thinking it's pointless in fighting back.
