Rush 24/7 Morning Update: The New America
RUSH: Okay, folks, more proof that no matter what taxpayers provide, it’s never enough.
RUSH: Okay, folks, more proof that no matter what taxpayers provide, it’s never enough.
RUSH: What Gore's doing is equating global warming with victimhood, and that's the magic to it. That's what the left has done. That's their coalition. The Democrat Party-media coalition is a collection of victims, minority and victims. And every sales pitch victimizes whoever is going to be hurt by whatever. And naturally, Republicans want people to get sick and they want them to have dirty water and dirty air and all this 'cause they're victims.
RUSH: Washington Post yesterday, Sunday edition, Kristine Phillips, headline: "Why These Professors Are Warning Against Promoting the Work of Straight, White Men."
RUSH: You Millennials, think of the Cruz amendment as cord cutting. You won't be forced by the government to buy the full cable package. You don't have to buy anything or you can buy everything. Whatever you want, you can buy, with nobody telling you that you have to. That's all Cruz is proposing.
RUSH: Have you ever heard of a feminist writer named Jody Allard? If you haven’t, you’re about to. And I also was watching an old episode of Elementary on CBS Thursday night, and I did a double-take watching the episide. I will explain…
RUSH: The media didn't make Trump. The media didn't take some unknown piece of clay here and mold him into a national public figure that they could then later dismantle and destroy. I can give you names of people they have done that to and they can whittle them away any time they want. But they didn't do that with Trump. Trump made himself. So the only person that can really destroy the relationship he has with his supporters is Trump himself.
RUSH: Anybody who understands anything knows what Trump was doing. The fact that there is so much hand-wringing and vapors and gnashing of teeth over this is a terrific illustration of what is happening to our culture and how it is veering off track and is resulting in vast limitations of free speech.
RUSH: Bernstein basically admits that the Drive-Bys are at war. We're in a civil war. It's a civil war in the media. And they are at war with Trump and his supporters.
RUSH: Did you see this ABC/Washington Post poll that has Trump's approval number plummeting? Do you know what the plus Democrat number is? It's 12%! There was plus-12% additional Democrats sampled in this poll. Well, hell's bells!
RUSH: I have to tell you, I mean, this happens all the time, folks. People come and ask me what I think of X, usually a political issue of the day. And I always listen, I always try to pay attention to the first two, three things people ask me about.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
