RUSH: “Communism for Kids” is dreary kiddie-commie propaganda. And I predict young readers won’t fall for it because I'm going to be competing against it. Screw this.
RUSH: Trump is falling for, that's what he's saying (imitating Trump), "Well, you know, we can't do tax cuts 'til we come up with the money for it by saving money from health care." See, in my naive world you could do both at the same time. And if Washington has to do with a little less, then so be it. Everybody else has to do that.
RUSH: What Trump is doing is an actual reset with the Russians right now, and the hit of Assad in Syria is part of it. And this is not a Hillary Clinton reset with a plastic little red button meant to be symbolic. This is a genuine reset and establishment of who the big dog is in this relationship, and it's us.
RUSH: I have to confess that I am more like this guy than I am anywhere like any detractors. I really am, folks. I'm not nearly as troubled by these day-to-day little spitballs they're launching at the guy. I have an inexplicable optimism about how most of this is going to turn out.
RUSH: If what happened in this tweet is true about mutual cooperation on economic matters, Trump will have done more in one meeting with this guy than Obama did in eight years. It's astounding.
RUSH: What United needs to do is rewrite the contract. What do they call it? Nobody reads the fine print. Make this plain as day. Here's the new deal with United Airlines if you decide to fly with them: You agree to pay the price for the seat on the airplane, and you get on the airplane realizing that you might be asked to vacate that seat — and if you don't, you could get beat up.
RUSH: I think when you’re the press secretary for the president of the United States, you don’t make mistake like this. This is an unforced error that’s not helpful and not needed. But, at the same time, everybody in that room knew what he was trying to say. They know he’s not a Holocaust denier. They know he’s not a Hitler sympathizer.
RUSH: It's a devastating look at the Clinton campaign. And it confirms what many people have speculated, that it was a bunch of people thinking they were guaranteed to win, nobody working really hard, nobody thinking very straight about it. It's a fascinating read.
RUSH: The media yesterday was all about, "See? Democrats are gonna win this seat proving that Trump is hated and despised and everybody wants him to go, and his agenda has been pronounced a failure!" Except Estes won.
RUSH: If this were a sane world and if this were a normal day, do you know what the big news of the day would be? That Donald Trump nailed it, that Donald Trump was exactly right, that the Obama administration was in fact spying on them and indeed requested and got a FISA warrant. Do you realize how many people have been trying to deny that?
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
