Rush 24/7 Morning Update: Surprisingly Simple
RUSH: To protect illegal aliens from deportation liberals in Denver just gave all first-time domestic violence offenders a break. A guy who beats his wife or girlfriend now serves less time in jail.

RUSH: If Comey led the media, which is salivating for stuff like this, if he led the media to believe that he's got the goods and doesn't — ha-ha-ha-ha — well, there will be payback. And this might be it. Washington Post: Comey is an idiot, tricked by Russians into destroying Hillary.
RUSH: You see Trump being treated better, with more respect than you got, and I guarantee you, if you're Obama, it would make you fume.
RUSH: I think we just need to be honest. Some people are calling it a coup. I think we're witnessing a political assassination that is being conducted by the media and of course joined by the Democrat Party and other leftists around the world.
RUSH: In every case — and of course this the anecdotal. We cannot extrapolate, there's no way we can project scientifically what this represents, but every caller here supported the actions taken by Gianforte on the basis that the media is rude and impolite and needs to understand that they should stop behaving that way and maybe this will teach 'em something. I wouldn't hold out for that happening.
RUSH: Trump jumped in their chili about all the NATO members still in arrears in their dues to NATO.
RUSH: Mitch McConnell's out there saying, "I don't know where, I don't know how, I just don't see how I'm gonna get 50 votes for the House health care bill. I just don't see it." No surprise, is it?
RUSH: I must join the chorus of people condemning what happened out there. This manly, obviously studly Republican candidate in Montana took the occasion to beat up a pajama-clad journalist… This cannot be accepted. This must be condemned. I wonder how many people of Montana are now gonna vote for the guy, though?
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
