RUSH: When I was 15, I wanted to be 30. I tried to behave like an adult when I was 15. Yeah, I guess when I was 21. That's when you can legally buy things. That was part and parcel of it for me. But also 18. But 30? That would have been… If somebody told me that we're not gonna consider you an adult until you're 30, I would have been so depressed, I would not have known what to do, 'cause adulthood was one of the things I desired most when I was a teenager.
RUSH: The danger on this is twofold. It's not just that the president gives up on the Republicans, but if he goes to the Democrats, it's not gonna be because they cave and help him advance his agenda.
RUSH: So they're on schedule, and they are heading on down the path exactly as they said they were going to. Sanctuary cities will not stand. The people engaged in it are gonna be penalized. They're gonna be held accountable to the law.
RUSH: Show me the success stories of people who didn't do it because it was hard, who are considered great achievers. You can't show me. There isn't anybody in that group of people. "It's too hard" does not have people in it who ever achieved greatness.
RUSH: Mid-February I got the first call that Ted Koppel is doing a piece on modern media for a CBS Sunday Morning news program, and Koppel wants to come down here and interview me, a 45-minute interview. I said, "No." Instinctively, right off the bat, I said, "No."
RUSH: Trump's voters are nowhere near abandoning him, folks. Trump's voters are not gonna blame him for this no matter how much the Washington establishment wants that to be the case.
RUSH: I always thought that transgenders wanted to be treated like everybody else, and now that TSA is gonna treat 'em like everybody else, they are uneasy about it.
RUSH: It's likely that Chelsea Clinton literally, actually believed that Abraham Lincoln had worn a Make America Great cap and had been photographed wearing it back in 1863. She was serious, folks. She was scared to death that Lincoln actually wore the hat.
RUSH: I am the mayor of Realville — and, as such, I accept reality. And I deal with it. I immerse myself in it. I don't try to pretend it isn't what it is. And there's some hard, cold realities that we face here as a result of this vote.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
