Rush 24/7 Morning Update: Toxic
RUSH: Here’s what we’re supposed to believe: Republican voters – who for five years have demanded that Congress get rid of Obamacare – now all of a sudden love it.

RUSH: The media is already blowing it up. Chuck Todd just tweeted out that President Trump today did the most "un-American thing." Criticizing the media is un-American, he said. They're not gonna like it.
RUSH: Just what the doctor ordered. This is Donald Trump going over the head of the media right to the American people, advancing his domestic agenda. The American people are gonna eat this up when they see it.
RUSH: Cillizza writes, "That is very, very smart." That had to pain them. I mean, this whole story had to pain them.
RUSH: You watch the news, you see the assaults, you see the Drive-Bys. You see it, you expose yourself to it, you know what’s going on. You wonder, “How is the guy holding up?”
RUSH: I am taking food out of the mouths of babies, I'm taking food off their tables 'cause I have criticized unions at some point. All of this going on during Obama's eight years. So I guess we were more effective than we knew in gumming up the works of the Obama Regime.
RUSH: They quote me saying, "There is no evidence for the primary assertion that is driving this," but they never mention what I identify as "the primary assertion."
RUSH: Did you hear about Dan Rather? Dan Rather says this is worse than Watergate. Did you see Tom Friedman in the New York Times yesterday? These people, I didn't think it was possible to become more unhinged, but they're doing it.
RUSH: Now, if it worked on me and I came in here and I researched it and I found out today that the original take I had on it was wrong… But can you imagine how this would work on people who are not highly trained seasoned broadcast specialists and media experts like me?
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
