RUSH: Yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, we spent some time discussing cultural rot and how it’s happening in education. We had a very lengthy story yesterday about a woman who attended a convention of college administrators. She was 40 years old and she was astounded at what she was seeing and hearing at this convention. She always thought that the primary method of liberal indoctrination of young people happened in the classroom, until she went to this convention, then she found out all of the administrative people are even sicker, like the guidance counselors and course advisers and so forth.

The keynote address at this college administrator convention, the keynote address was how to recognize your white privilege and to learn essentially the evils of white privilege and how to properly understand and deal with the guilt you should feel over it. And it was replete with examples of how white privilege has damaged so much of this country via discrimination, inequality, racism, sexism, bigotry, homophobia, the usual standbys.

Well, there is a story here from ABC Eyeball News in Raleigh, Channel 11. “Raleigh Parents Upset About ‘White Privilege’ Paper Sent Home With Student.” We’re talking about 8-year-olds, it is 8-year-olds or eighth graders. It’s 8 years old, second grader.

“The mother of a second-grader at Hunter Magnet Elementary in Raleigh is upset about a sheet that explained white privilege was sent home with her child.” The two sided sheet was in his folder when he came home last month. “It discusses white representation in government, the military, media, and education.” And says it’s way overbalanced, way too many white people in way too many positions of power. And “it lists examples of white privilege in society.” And of course condemns all of it. Second graders, folks.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: This business in Raleigh, folks, this is happening all over the country. And now these little worksheets are being passed out to second graders, they take ’em home. In this case, this sheet of paper that’s sent home with the student is entitled, “Begin to Understand the Concept of White Privilege.” And it lists a bunch of job titles and positions with the corresponding percentage of these positions held by white people. President, politician, Hollywood producer, Hollywood actor, musician, all of this. And every number is in the 90’s.

Ninety percent of all the people that matter in the United States are white, and that, of course, is being taught as bad and as a reason why there’s so much inequality, unhappiness, disparity, misery, discrimination. It’s all being blamed on white privilege, white majority domination.

Now, this has always been something that the left has attempted to inculcate to people, but they always did it in an indirect way. They simply focused on the majority as being the focus of evil and uninterested in suffering, uninterested in people unlike them. And now majority has been replaced with the term “white privilege.” And it now is being defined for people, white privilege is exactly what results from white people being the majority.

And of course none of it works unless students are also taught, people are taught that the majority of white people are Christian, therefore they’re discriminatory, therefore they’re bigots, they’re anti-gay, they’re anti-transgender, they’re anti-minority, all of this. Now, you wonder, when you see protests at major institutions of higher learning at colleges and universities, you see these little snowflakes running around talking about the guilt they feel about white privilege, it’s because it’s being taught to them at a very young age, and it’s getting younger.

And that’s the reason this thing out of Raleigh is somewhat interesting. It’s a magnet school, and the leftists in the school prepare this document, they give it to the kids, second graders, they take it home, a parent, a single parent has raised hell about this. A single parent. Her name — I don’t even want to mention her name. I don’t want to target her. But her name is Hispanic. I don’t know anything. Her name appears to be a name that you would see associated with an Hispanic person. I don’t know if that’s true or not.

But she’s outraged. She doesn’t know why in the world the school is taking it upon itself to teach her eight-year-old about racism and bigotry and white privilege, when she doesn’t even necessarily believe in it, but at eight years ago, why do they need to learn this? There are things more important than this.

So the leftists in the school, one of the trusts of the story is how they’re trying to blame this on the PTA. “The PTA’s doing this. It was their idea. They came up with this. We’re just the ones implementing it,” which is bogus as it can be. Doesn’t matter, they’re probably all in on it. And this is Raleigh, North Carolina, not long ago considered a red state, North Carolina.

But a bunch of Yankees are moving there, escaping the evils and the cold and the darkness and the dankness of the Northeast, the high taxes and everything else. And they’re bringing their liberalism with them. And, as such, they’re polluting and corrupting these places they’re moving to. It’s amazing. They grow tired of where they live because they’re in the process ruining it, and they want to go someplace where it is dramatically better. And rather than participate in their new place in things that make it radically different and better, they began to try to implement and take over the things that they’re fleeing in their new location. And it causes its own kind of strife.

But now 8-year-olds, second graders in North Carolina, and I’m sure this is not the only place this is happening. And it’s been happening for a while in junior high and high school. ‘Cause I’ve noticed there are courses that you can take now at several predominantly large universities on white privilege, understanding white privilege. And you can see these college snowflakes making speeches on trying to assuage their guilt at being white.

It all comes from the multicultural curricula that started some 30 years ago, probably even longer ago than that, which has as its premise that we don’t even deserve to be here. That this land is owned naturally by Native Americans and they were at one with nature and they were minding their own business. And they were a wonderful people. They never went to war with each other. They never mistreated animals. They knew what every blade of grass was saying to them. They were just deep in the woods with nature.

Then here came the white Europeans. And they brought horses, and they brought syphilis, and they eventually brought guns, and they eventually brought homophobia, and they brought all of the ills and evils the American left sees in America today. So that was the original premise of the multicultural curricula. It was taught by a bunch of people that were unable to assimilate. They felt angry that they weren’t able to become a functioning part of America so they began to take it all out on America itself.

But it’s actually part of a much larger objective, which is simply to erase Western civilization and the largest population utilizing it. That would be us, the United States. And they are proceeding apace. And, of course, whether he knows it or not, Donald Trump’s campaign was standing up and saying “no” to this as well as everything else, economically and psychologically. It was serving to depress, destroy, lower expectations for everybody.

Here you have Obama and his gang telling us there’s a new normal now. America’s best days are behind us. This is a new decline. We’re the ones to manage it. America’s prosperity in the past really wasn’t earned. It wasn’t deserved, blah, blah, blah. Everything flowed from that.

RUSH: “Parents Stage Walkout Over Planned Parenthood’s Graphic, Violent Sex Ed in Public Schools.” This is at PJMedia.com. “Sex education in public schools has gone off the deep end. Gone are the days of handing out birth control and practicing putting condoms on bananas. These days your kid is more likely to come away from school with more sexually deviant knowledge,” than some of the world’s worst perverts in history, “thanks to Planned Parenthood’s comprehensive sex ed program that has somehow made it into public school curriculums. These programs teach dangerous and violent practices like BDSM –”

Do you know what BDSM is? Asphyxiation. Do you know what asphyxiation is? Dawn, do you know what asphyxiation is? You do. Well, for those of you that don’t, there was a rock ‘n’ roll group not long ago — well, 20 years ago called INXS. Its leader was a guy named Michael Hutchence. They were an Australian group. This guy was found one day hanged to death. But he didn’t intend to die. He was practicing sexual asphyxiation.

There is a technique that enhances the orgasm if it happens simultaneously with you thinking that you are strangled or choking, and people try to accomplish both without dying. Hutchence, it didn’t work, and he died. The world was crushed. He was not unhappy, did not try to kill himself. He just didn’t have the right timing that day. So there’s that.

Asphyxiation. Gender bending. Anal sex. These things are part now of the sex education curriculum in public schools. Rimming. Do you know what rimming is? I’m talking about the public school sex education curriculum Planned Parenthood has entered into many public schools in America. They’re teaching rimming. They’re teaching anal sex. They’re teaching gender bending. They’re teaching asphyxiation and BDSM.

You know what that is, don’t you? They’re teaching masochism. Well, somebody has to be going along with it. “Planned Parenthood has already been caught on video … advising a girl they think is 15 years old to allow her boyfriend to beat, whip, and gag her. ‘On April 23rd, parents around the nation will be pulling their children out of school for the day in protest of dangerous and graphic sex education and uniting at various locations to hold press events and field media questions,'” to try to explain to people exactly what is going on with all this.

You know when I read stuff like this and the two previous stories today, there’s a part of me that thinks the entire education system just needs to be torched, burned to the ground, and rebuilt. It is so insidiously tainted. I don’t know what the way out of this is, other than a reboot. It needs to be disinfected. It needs to be bleached. That’s something Hillary Clinton knows all about. And here’s a pull quote from the story.

“Follow the money. Comprehensive sex ed is being rolled out across America, often sponsored by special interest LGBT groups like Human Rights Campaign.”
By the way, the sex education program is entered into the curriculum as an anti-bullying program. That’s how they get it past parents. They simply lie and misrepresent what it is.

You know, because everybody’s against bullying, so here comes a group, “Yeah, we’re gonna have an anti-bullying program in the school,” and in that program is where this perverted sex education is.

So at the same time, the NRA is not allowed anywhere near a classroom to push its agenda of the safe usage of guns. But it’s okay for the Human Rights Campaign and their money to be buying schools off to teach all of this quirky sex education, complete with tutorials, by the way. It’s only natural when nobody complained about teaching ’em how to use condoms with cucumbers and so forth way back in the 90’s. I mean, if this stuff is not stopped in its early days, it’s only gonna get worse because that’s what liberalism does. It just builds on itself.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: So I just got an email. “Mr. Limbaugh, why is the entire left in this country trying to turn our children into sexual perverts? I can’t believe these two stories you just had. Why are they doing this?”

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: So I got an email from somebody who was listening very carefully to the program in the first hour, “Mr. Limbaugh, why is the entire left of this country trying to turn our little kids into sexual perverts? Based on these two stories, this isn’t about accepting homosexuality or lesbianism. This is flat-out teaching them to be perverts. And, Mr. Limbaugh, I mean, really, why? What is the goal?

“What’s the benefit to the left of turning kids into perverts? Why? What is the point? I cannot possibly understand this. What is the benefit to turning more babies into weird, perverted, out-of-normal, unhealthy human beings? Because, Mr. Limbaugh, in my world there’s nothing healthy about sexual perversion. So why is the left hell-bent on this?”

My friends, as much as I understand the left — and believe me, I do — I would have to really ponder this one, ’cause I think these are good questions. If you’re just tuning in wondering what this is about. “Parents Stage Walkout Over Planned Parenthood’s Graphic, Violent Sex Ed in Public Schools.”

This is a story by Megan Fox of PJ Media. Apparently what’s going on out there is that Planned Parenthood has succeeded rather dramatically in introducing an absolutely putrid, scandalous sex education program under the guise of it being an anti-bullying program. “Comprehensive sex ed is being rolled out across America, often sponsored by special interest LGBT groups like Human Rights Campaign.”

The Human Rights Campaign is a gay rights organization, and now every gay rights organization has swallowed up and incorporated transgender people. I’m trying to figure out what they have in common there. What’s the commonality between homosexuality and transgenderism? And I don’t know that there is any, but I know why they’re being incorporated. The gay agenda has been successfully implemented. The gay political agenda has been implemented much quicker. They never thought they would have gay marriage legalized in all 50 states by now, and it happened overnight.

And once that happened, there wasn’t really a whole lot left to raise hell out. I mean, there are individual pockets of so-called bigotry and homophobia out there, but that was the biggie. And they don’t want to stop. I mean, these people make their living protesting. Their lives are defined by their anger and agitation at being victims. And so I think incorporating the transgender community into the militant gay political groups almost gave them a resupply of fuel to maintain anger, to maintain victim status, and to remain anti-majority United States.

And part and parcel of this anti-majority United States position is an overwhelming desire to have what they like or what they want or who they are to be considered normal, as normal as anything else. And you know this stuff is happening not just in the classroom. It is happening both in our faces and very subtly at the same time in prime time TV.

I will give you an example. Occasionally I watch the CBS hit show NCIS. For the longest time it was the most watched television show in prime time for a number of years. I don’t know if it still is or not. It’s in its 15th season, stars Mark Harmon. Mike Weatherly was in it, but he moved on to his own show called Bull now. So last night’s episode was about — well, it wasn’t about, but it end up being about orphaned illegal immigrant children being hunted down by gang members from Central America.

They were being housed on army bases, and it was the greatest sympathy play for illegal immigrant children not to be sent home, not to be returned to their own parents because of the problem of war-torn gang activity at home. The way the viewer was supposed to be impacted by this was the next time they see a story in the news about illegals’ caravans being turned away at the border, they’re supposed remember this episode, “My god, these are just kids, we can’t send ’em back, we can’t send ’em back.”

It’s very subtle. You take even the most popular TV show — it was for a while — and you incorporate these very subtle left-wing political objectives. And you do it on this show one week one night and another show does it another way. For example, you cannot watch a TV show now, I can’t find bun, not that I’m looking, but you cannot find a show where there is not a mainstream gay or lesbian a couple in a relationship that are predominant in the program and they’re normal as they can be and so forth and every which way.

And it is a subtle way of making something that is, what, five to 10% of the population look like it’s all of the population or a very, very big part of it. And it’s all designed to chip away at what you know is common sense. It’s designed to make you think that the way you look at this stuff is wrong. It’s designed to wear you down, beat you down to the point you don’t oppose these things anymore. These TV shows, wherever you find ’em, it’s everywhere, it’s not just networks, it’s cable outlets, Netflix and so forth.

Some of it’s dead in your face, but most of it is very subtle. And it’s not obviously political. But I as a student of left-wing techniques — that’s why I watch so much TV, not cable news anymore, but why I watch a decent share of this stuff is to keep track of how — ’cause this is how they get all of this into the mainstream population.

Now, let’s go back to the story in Raleigh. And this is the story about second graders at a school in Raleigh. It’s a grade school being exposed to lessons on white privilege. These are 8-year-olds, these are second graders, given lessons on white privilege. One parent has spoken out about it, one parent at least is reported to have spoken out about it, very outraged saying, “You have no business teaching my kid that there’s something wrong with him because he’s white. You’ve got no business, you’ve got no business teaching racism. He’s 8-years-old, this is not your purview, it’s mine as his mother.”

The leftists in the school are trying to slough this stuff off. They say the PTA is doing it and these lessons being sent home are not really for the students, they’re for the parents. Which is a crock. They are expressly for the students, and when they get caught, they do two things: They blame it on the PTA and then claim it’s not for the student, it’s for you parents to see. We want you to know what we should be doing and what we’re doing here.

And I mentioned that one of the elements of the white privilege lessons is to break down various jobs and positions and have the corresponding percentage of those jobs filled by white people. Here’s the list. According to this lesson plan at this Raleigh high school on white privilege — by the way, colorblindness is taught as a bad thing. You want to be the opposite of colorblind. You want to notice the white privilege. You want to learn about the white privilege, you want to understand, you’re being taught, they’re being taught that white privilege is really the root of all of the inequality, the discrimination, the inequity in this country.

It all stems from white privilege, which is simply a new way of attacking the so-called majority. So here are data points the students are given to back up the claim that white privilege is bad, that it’s pervasive and discriminatory. It’s a list of jobs or positions. Congress, 90% white. Governors, 96% white. Top military advisers, 100% white. President and vice president, 100% white. Current presidential cabinet, 91% white. People who decide which TV shows we see, 93% white. Owners of men’s pro-football teams, 97% white.

This is sort of an introductory lesson into understanding white privilege. So along with this we have sexual perversion being taught under the guise of anti-bullying programs sponsored by Planned Parenthood in a number of public schools across the country. And enough parents have noticed that they’re staging a walk out on April the 23rd over this.

Now, I doubt you’re seeing any of this in the Drive-By Media, which is why I wanted to take some time to talk about it today, because cultural deprivation, cultural rot is one of the areas that worries me the most as far as the future of our country is concerned. Politics is what it is, and we see it each and every day, and it’s there to be seen. I mean, many of the left’s tricks have been exposed, and it’s all on television.

This stuff is subtle. And if you don’t have kids in the second grade these days, if your kids are older or you don’t have kids at all, you may not even be aware this is going on. But this is how you infect the bloodstream that is our culture. And so that you get started early enough with all these kinds of — one of the things you’re doing — you know, my email, “Why, Mr. Limbaugh, why? What’s the goal, what’s the benefit of turning second graders into perverts? What’s the goal in turning sixth and seventh graders into sexual deviants? Why do these people want to produce weird, perverted, unhealthy people?”

I can only guess on the sexual side. I think it all boils down to power and control. Now, obviously there are many possible explanations for this. But given how the left politicizes everything, I think this is about ultimately making people messed up and unable to get through life on their own. It’s about preparing them and conditioning them to become victims and to end up being anti-majority, anti-whatever is normal. I think you have basically a bunch of unhappy, angry people who want as many other people to be as unhappy and angry as they are and to have the same grievances.

But beyond that, it’s a crapshoot. ‘Cause I can’t relate to it. And I don’t think most of you can, either. So I’m simply guessing as to what the possible objective here is. One thing you can rule out, this is not good. It’s not helping anybody improve. Teaching this kind of sexual perversion and creating hate and suspicion for anybody — black, white, Asian, whatever — doing that is not healthy. There’s nothing good that can come from it. And yet it is the objective of so much of the left’s political agenda.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Now, by the way, I don’t think that the left thinks they’re turning people into better people with this really perverted sex education. I mean, they’re teaching sadomasochism. They’re teaching anal sex, how to do it. They’re teaching asphyxiation. They’re teaching really way out of the mainstream things in grade school, in middle school. So the question why are they doing it, I don’t think they’re doing it for the benefit of these kids.

I don’t think anybody is that stupid. I think this is all about undermining America. I think it’s an attack on traditions, institutions that have defined the country’s greatness. It’s an attack on anything and everything having to do with what these people think is an evil majority. And to them the evil majority is all white people, primarily white Christians, and so now that’s how we get the white privilege curriculum. And we’re teaching everything what’s wrong with that.

White privilege is being taught as the reason everything that’s bad in this country is bad. White privilege, climate change. White privilege, racism. White privilege, inequality. White privilege, poverty. White privilege, mean-spirited extremism. White privilege, anti-immigration. White privilege is being targeted as the reason for all of this unfairness and all of this mean-spiritedness.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Here is Steve in West Hartford, Connecticut. Great to have you, sir. How are you?

CALLER: Oh, it’s very good to speak to you, Mr. Limbaugh. How are you?

RUSH: Fine and dandy, sir. It’s great to have you on the program.

CALLER: Well, I’m a high school English teacher, public schools, and I cannot tell you how determined we are to make children into sexually sophisticated little beings. We really, really work on it very strenuously. And of course it’s not just — I mean, it’s in the educational system, the public school system, but it’s also everywhere in pop culture, everywhere.

RUSH: Now, wait a minute. Hold it a minute. When you say “we work on making our children sexually sophisticated,” are you talking about you?

CALLER: No. I hate it. I despise it. I can’t stand being a part of it. But I’m a member of the public school system. That’s why I say “we.”

RUSH: Okay.

CALLER: Because I have to. I’m disgusted that I have to. But, you know, you keep saying, where does this come from? I’ve got a theory and I’d like to throw it out. You know, the ancient Christians were so severely persecuted by the pagans in their day because the Christians told them they couldn’t do the things that they wanted to do. And of course this included any kind of sexual deviancy that you can think of, having sex with children and all this. You know, the left seems to be very hostile toward modern Christianity as well. And I think this is what pagans look like. I think this is what they are. I think this is what they do.

RUSH: Wow! Okay. Now we’re getting somewhere. Now we’re dealing with the modern era pagans dealing and battling with modern era Christians. Let me tell you something. One thing that you are dead-on right about, and I don’t care what era you’re talking about, people in this country or anywhere else, and let’s stick with the modern era, the view that these people — you call ’em pagans, I’ll just call them the general left — the irreligious, the view they have of Christians is of a domineering, demanding, you are not allowed to have fun, sex is not to be enjoyed, it’s only to have kids, and you are to feel guilty every time you do it no matter what the reason.

You are not supposed enjoy life. You are supposed to have a strict moral code, and the purpose of that moral code is to deny people happiness. Life is to be spent in an impossible quest of living decency and goodness in hopes of attaining heaven. The view that these people have of Christianity is prison! They really think Christianity is prison and that people who are smiling, happy Christians want to put everybody who isn’t a Christian in some kind of religious jail.

CALLER: Well, and not coincidentally, that’s exactly what the ancient pagans thought of the Christians, exactly. You know, you’re a bunch of party poopers. You’re telling us we can’t do what we want to do. And my goodness, part of realizing their wonderful vision for the future is making our children sexually sophisticated. What does that say about us?

RUSH: Wait a second. I understand your term, but there’s nothing sophisticated about the perversions that they’re being taught.

CALLER: Oh, yeah —

RUSH: Maybe you mean enlightened, as the left would define it.

CALLER: That’s exactly how they would define it, yes, that’s exactly. But they do want. They want children to be sexually knowledgeable at a very young age, and I think it’s unbelievably creepy.

RUSH: It’s sexually rebellious. It’s sexually rebellious. I think they want all of this to end up being a giant slap in the face at whoever these imaginary Christians they think are. I mean, it’s why ACT UP and these people were marching into St. Patrick’s in the early 90’s and throwing condoms. They demanded the Catholic Church reform to accept whatever they thought normalcy was. And when the Catholic Church said no, we do not moderate. We are who we are. We have our religious beliefs and teachings, and we don’t change with the wind. Except this current pope might be doing that, but prior to him —

CALLER: He definitely does.

RUSH: — and it infuriates them. Because they look at it as ultimate judgmentalism. They don’t want to be judged and they don’t want to feel guilty when they’re being judged as behaving in ways that are not helpful, productive. Yeah, I think you’re pretty close.

CALLER: Yeah, I’ve been thinking about it a long time. I really do. I think what we’re looking at is the face of modern paganism. This is what pagans are like. This is what it looks like. This is how they act. That’s what I think, at least.

RUSH: You know, I like that. I use that technique myself in explaining — like the attempt here to now get rid of Scott Pruitt, the EPA administrator, or all of this lying BS they’re telling on Trump. This is what pushing back against the establishment in this case looks like. It isn’t gonna be pretty, and they’re not just gonna sit around and acquiesce and understand they lost the election and therefore have to moderate and modify. No way, Jose.

They’re gonna fight it. They consider Trump illegitimate, and pushing back is exactly what it looks like. And in a sense the people you’re calling pagans are pushing back at what they think the dominant religion of America is, practiced by the dominant race of America. And so they’re pushing back against it. They’re not gonna accept it. And they’re getting more and more powerful.

As the Democrat Party has incorporated and accepted all of this, accepted their money, accepted their ideological beliefs, maybe put it even into policy in the party platform, they have a home for it now. They’re doing everything they can to make sure that their enemies don’t win. Their enemies here are the white majority, the white Christian majority. And so getting hold of young skulls full of mush as early as they can in school is how they are fighting the battle.

But again, folks, the thing you have to understand here, be it about illegal immigration or about teaching young people in grade school and middle school a bunch of sexual perversion techniques, it’s not about helping these people.

RUSH: Here is Andrew in Columbus, Ohio. We’re back to the phones. Welcome, sir.

CALLER: Hey. How are you?

RUSH: I’m fine. I’m fine. Thank you very much.

CALLER: Okay. Hey. I just wanted to talk about white privilege a little bit. I’m just recently a college graduate from criminal justice here in Ohio. And it’s mandatory now to take a cultural ethnic and diversity class or racial ethnic and diversity class. And during this whole class, thought to be a great project, teach everybody about different cultures, things like that, the entire class was basically teaching that if you’re white, you owe a debt to everyone else.

RUSH: See? What university?

CALLER: That was Ohio State University.

RUSH: The Ohio State University.

CALLER: The Ohio State University.

RUSH: Wow. And you are a student, you’re a graduate at this —

CALLER: Yes, as of this spring.

RUSH: Well, congratulations, I think.

CALLER: Thank you. Thank you.

RUSH: No, no, no. It’s an achievement. It’s an achievement to graduate college. I understand that. So you had to go to a mandatory course on ethnic diversity and all this, and the sum total of it was that you, in order to pass this course, you had to understand, say it again, the problems of white America? What was it you said? What you said scrolled beyond — I can’t remember what you said. How would you characterize it is this?

CALLER: Characterize it as basically if you are white, then you owe the rest of the nonwhite community a pittance, so to speak, you owe them. Your white privilege, your white entitlement has given you so much throughout your life that now you need to return it and give favors to the nonwhite community.

RUSH: Right. You essentially owe a debt to people who are in minority groups because you come from a majority, and therefore you have benefited unfairly.

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: And you essentially have to give something back to your community for all of this illegitimate prosperity or whatever else that’s come your way because you’re white.

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: You have to basically now give some of it back.

CALLER: Yes. Rather than teaching about the different cultures and where they come from, they’re different —

RUSH: Let me ask you this very quickly. Is there any other culture that gets blamed for anything besides white culture in this course?

CALLER: I’d have to say black culture for crime. That’s a common stereotype, but —

RUSH: No, no. They actually teach that or they call it a stereotype?

CALLER: Oh, no, they just call it a stereotype.

RUSH: Right. Right. My point is I’ll bet you no other culture gets held out and targeted for blame in this course, is my point. All right. I appreciate the call.

RUSH: I remember so many years ago when sex education was first introduced to the public schools, and I remember all of us saying nothing good is gonna come from this, and here we are now teaching sexual perversion as normalcy in public schools.

RUSH: Here is Steve in Colona, Iowa. I’m glad you called. You’re next.

CALLER: Thank you for taking my call, Rush. I think you’re missing the point of what white privilege is actually about. It’s nothing more than a liberal excuse and misdirection. And that is because, like you have taught us, everything else the libs touch, they’ve ruined. So they’ve trashed the school system. In the sixties, they had Commie Andy (sic) and decided to indoctrinate versus educate. So where’d they start getting their foot in the schools?

The inner cities. They wrecked those schools so, “Oh, we have to bus them out to suburban schools.” They wrecked those schools. “Well, it must be affirmative action.” So they did affirmative action. Well, now our status in basic education has dropped in the world and — as you’ve always stated — liberals can’t take the blame, so it now must be white privilege. So they’ve trashed the school system. And just your conversation about sex and what they’re teaching? Why aren’t they teaching math and — your favorite — reading and writing? You’re reading stories and that. Well, the dumbest people are the ones who get into journalism school.

RUSH: (laughing)

CALLER: If they were smart, they would have passed —
RUSH: (laughing)

CALLER: They would have passed the MCATs or the LSATs or gone into engineering.

RUSH: Wait a minute. Time’s running out and I need to ask you a question. You really think I’m over analyzing the purpose, the objectives of the whole “white privilege,” quote-unquote, movement? You think it’s just a distraction and that’s all it is?

CALLER: It’s an excuse. Liberals can’t take responsibility. They’ve blown the school system. Nobody’s learning anything. They’ve indoctrinated. So it must have been… It can’t be them.

RUSH: That isn’t an objective. Liberals don’t feel bad that people aren’t learning anything. That’s the objective.

CALLER: That is the objective. But now that people are questioning it, they’ve gotta find a reason, ’cause they’re in charge of the schools. They can’t take the blame.

RUSH: Well, I understand that. It’s never gonna be their fault. So white privilege is just an excuse. White privilege is the reason nobody’s learning. It’s because the whites don’t think they have to work hard, whatever. Maybe so. I don’t… Much of what you say is true.
