Rush 24/7 Morning Update: Not Happy Update
RUSH: Folks, do you really believe that Trump, or us, want dirty water and dirty air and bad land?
RUSH: Folks, do you really believe that Trump, or us, want dirty water and dirty air and bad land?
RUSH: I'm gonna get beat up like you haven't seen for this. By all the left-wing comedians, it's gonna be, "Rush, do you have no soul? Do you not have one ounce of compassion?"
RUSH: This is just a generic question — why do we think, let's say you love Trump, you voted for Trump, you think Trump's the greatest, he's smart, he's not an idiot. What is it that allows you to think that he might abandon you? What is it that makes you think he might forget who got him elected? Well, no, there are answers to that. But it's an interesting psychological question.
RUSH: They have an anchor there in the afternoon by the name of Brooke Baldwin. She's a typical CNN infobabe and anchorette. And she's got this Syrian refugee that she's interviewing and she just expects this guy to dump all over Trump for bombing his country and creating chaos and instability.
RUSH: It's entirely, as far as I'm concerned, predictable and understandable. When you know leftists like I do and that they really do believe this stuff that they believe — this insane, lunatic stuff — they believe this stuff. And it's now showing up in TV shows.
RUSH: How predictable is this? How often have we seen this? The LA Times has a story which purports to be written from the opinion-free middle.
RUSH: Did you hear about United Airlines literally dragging some guy off a flight? It was overcrowded.
RUSH: Here's this editor at Mother Jones thinking — she probably, when she wrote this tweet, probably thought she had stumbled into brilliance.
RUSH: Well, so much for that collusion between Trump and Russia. Have you seen the Russians have threatened to hit back at Trump? Strike back at Trump. It was a relatively slow news weekend, for Trump. I mean, not all that much happened, folks. Let's review it.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
