RUSH: John Podesta, whose emails were made public in the WikiLeaks dump, ran Hillary’s campaign, was on a website yesterday, and they released an interview by Bloomberg Politics co-managing editor John Heilemann they had with Podesta. We have a little clip of this thing. It’s kind of funny in a way. During a discussion about James Comey, the FBI director, during a discussion of his impact on the election, Heilemann and Podesta had the following back-and-forth.
HEILEMANN: You have a theory, the case —
PODESTA: Well, I think there’s —
HEILEMANN: — that Comey wanted Trump to win, that the FBI wanted Trump to win. There’s gotta be some theories here.
So, anyway, I don’t know if they ended up blaming the Russians as that interview went on, but it’s pretty much what we know they think. They didn’t lose because of Hillary’s being a lousy candidate. They didn’t lose because of ideas. They didn’t lose because people like Trump better. They lost because somebody cheated ’em and maybe a combination of the FBI and the Russians cheated ’em. They still can’t get over it, and it’s largely governing much of their behavior even now.
