CALLER: Yeah. Hey, Rush. Thanks for taking my call.

RUSH: You bet, sir.

CALLER: I just wanted to point out, I remember last month you were saying right before the Democratic debate… It was like on a Saturday evening, and you were saying how that’s pretty much when, like, hardly anybody’s watching TV, I think.

RUSH: That’s right.

CALLER: Yeah. And it looks like they’re doing the same thing, like, next Saturday.

RUSH: Every Democrat debate… The remaining Democrat debates are all on Saturday.

CALLER: Yeah. ‘Cause, like, hardly anybody watches it, and then it’s just, you know, the liberal media on the weekends. You know, like, the next morning.

RUSH: That’s right. That’s why all the candidates aside from Hillary are mad at Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz ’cause they think that that’s rigging the game for Hillary. Why even do the debates if they’re not gonna have an audience? In fact, the last debate they did on a Saturday ended 10 minutes early ’cause they covered everything.

CALLER: Yeah. I remember when I watched it, actually, like I’ll listened during the weekday in, like, in the evenings. But, you know, on a Saturday evening, I watched it. But I… You know, didn’t really… It was just the time. Kind of a trick they use, I think.

RUSH: What, the Saturday broadcast of it?

CALLER: Yeah. ‘Cause just, like, it’s not really a time that people are, you know, watching TV.

RUSH: Yeah, by design. They don’t want people to watch it. Now, folks, it’s not because the Democrats are afraid of what people will think of Hillary. It’s they’re trying to prevent Bernie Sanders and O’Malley and any of the others from gaining any ground on her. (interruption) The purp…? There’s no more what? (interruption) Yeah, there’s just O’Malley and Sanders Sanders ’cause what’s his face, Linc Chaffee, pulled out. He was never in it. The guy’s face was buried in the mud from day on, anyway. He was never standing up in this.

Jim Webb dropped out ’cause Jim Webb’s realized, you know, he’s not a Democrat anymore, but he can’t say so. He doesn’t want to be a Republican, but he knows he’s not he’s not one of this crowd, so he bummed out. So maybe it is to protect Hillary a bit, but the primary purpose of Saturday debates is to make sure that that nobody opposing Hillary gets noticed and gets any traction. ‘Cause this is hers. You know, it was hers in 2008, and then Obama came along and everybody threw her overboard, and she’s not again going to let that happen this time. So she got together Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz, and they have a pact.
