Colin Kaepernick In His Own Words

RUSH: Here’s what Kaepernick said. “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football, and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

The Democrats Can’t Innovate

RUSH: The Democrat Party does not innovate. They don't have any innovators, and they don't have any forward thinkers. If the Democrat Party produced a smartphone, it would still be 30 years old. And the only thing that would change in it is the numbers of people that you can call.

Donald Trump Defeated the NFL Because the Country Isn’t What the Media Portrays It to Be

RUSH: The NFL is one of these corporate entities that’s missing its mark. I think there are people there who really believe that sideline protests of the flag and disrespect for the flag and the honoring of Colin Kaepernick was going to improve their image. A vastly incorrect picture of America is portrayed and painted by the media each and every day and unwitting people (who otherwise are smart and intelligent in their own right) believe it, and it makes them make incorrect decisions.

Rush on Hannity, Part One

RUSH: This is the deal. I really believe that if for just three months, going forward, or if they had three months in the past, just three months, gut it up for three months and work with Trump on his agenda, on cutting taxes seriously, across the board, immigration reform, the wall, what have you, getting rid of Obamacare, which is just — it's an absolute crime what has happened here and what that's gonna mean to the country. Just try for three months, make it look like there's unity between the president and the people in his own party, and they would own Washington for a generation.

The NFL Doesn’t Know Its Audience

RUSH: I'm not sure the NFL really knows who its audience is. I think I know who they would like it to be. They would like it to be fellow brie and white wine people and sophisticates.
