TODD: President Trump decided to sit down with Sean Hannity on Fox News. And we’re gonna play a clip. I want you to hear this in a second. But know that the left, they’re so obsessed with trying to beclown the orange man. Do you remember when the president was talking about the wildfires that are the result of bad policies in California?

And he said these trees can be dangerous. They can blow up. Remember that? The left says, “Trump says trees are bombs!” No, he didn’t. If you turn around and you talk to a botanist, it’s like, “Oh, yeah! Ho! Those things will blow sky-high.” The president said these things, and they instantly tried to beclown him. So President Trump spoke with Sean Hannity about whether he may run for president in 2024.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I say this: I am looking at it very seriously, beyond seriously. From a legal standpoint, I don’t want to really talk about it yet.

TODD: (laughing) They hit him on this. “A legal…? What? A legal standpoint?” Yes. A legal standpoint. You announce you’re running, a whole series of legal manifestations taking place in the background. You need an exploratory committee. Now, are you raising money? Now, is this a campaign donation? It’s the same reason that presidential candidates never officially drop out of the race.

They “suspend” their campaign. It’s for legal reasons. And I know that’s minutia, but it’s such an indicator of how obsessed they are to this day trying to beclown Trump because they are trying their very, very best to rub our faces in it to say, “Here’s your Trump! He can’t even say anything right out of office,” because they fear that we are going to stall H.R. 1, the ridiculous For the People Act.

They fear that we’re gonna stall that successfully and get our country back. Look. We all watched the apparatchiks and the mockingbird media, the so-called public health technocrats who brutalize the minds and emotions of Americans to rig our voting system, all to rid themselves of the election result they hated, that of Trump. Rush tells us why they were willing to show what they are.

RUSH: I’ll guarantee you this. They were scared to death that if Trump had another four years, that they might not win anything again. There might be such great things happening in this country after four more years of Trump that the American people wouldn’t have wanted any part of the Democrat Party.

That would be a distinct possibility. It’s also possible that the Democrats would have literally pulled out all the stops to defeat, to impugn, to wipe Trump out in these next four years. But they weren’t gonna sit by and even let him win — and had he won, they weren’t gonna sit by and let him govern. We’ve already determined that.

TODD: And the TIME magazine article. Oh, yeah, I’m obsessed with that. (impression) “We fortified the election! We lied. We worked with domestic terror groups. We hid information. We changed the voting laws at the last minute. We took Mark Zuckerberg’s half billion dollars and made sure that we put illegal drop boxes in states. But, noooo. The voting machines? No, we never touched those. That’s a bridge too far. We never do that. Never!”

TODD: I gotta get to this, because it’s also just the left playing games with words and, you know, pretending that vote integrity is canceling votes and the mockingbird media saying, “There’s hearings on Capitol Hill about Republican efforts to restrict the votes of minorities,” which is not true. We talked about changing the language earlier.

We gotta get through this maybe tomorrow. Stacey Abrams got grilled about her true feelings about vote security measures, right, because they’re still continuing to pretend the Georgia law ends voting as we know it. In fact, President Trump was on Sean Hannity’s television program, and this time they got to talking about the Georgia voting law.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: The Georgia bill is far too weak. We have to have signature verification. They don’t have it! Why don’t they have signature verification? You want matching. You want matching signatures. They have many things that they didn’t put in. Look, what happened is the governor and others were afraid to be called racist. So they gave a very weak bill and they’re called racist anyway.

TODD: Can you imagine what would happen…? You know, what was it? You got an airline who joined the wokeratti when all this and came out, “Oh, it’s the terrible, worst bill in the world!” Can you imagine what would happen if people decided to maybe just have these companies live in their world where they made a bunch of arrangements to go to the United terminal and not have ID when they show up?

“Oh, we need your ID!”

“Nope! I’m not giving it to you. That’s racism. You’re a racist.”

And the lady says, “I’m sorry, I can’t help you. Sorry, call customer service.”

The next person pops up. “Did you ask her for ID, ’cause that’s racism! You’re a racist!”

Sometime or another, people have to understand the structure of the world that they’re creating. Now, I believe — and Rush, of course, was all over vote integrity. I believe that Rush lived passed what he called his expiration date because most of all he was an optimist and incredibly positive. But most importantly, Rush Limbaugh wanted us all to understand the stakes of the political thuggery being employed by the left and their accomplices in the mockingbird media.

RUSH: If the Democrats win, if Biden wins this election with Kamala Harris or whoever that they put up there, that’s the end of democracy. It’s the end of the two-party system. We’re gonna have a one-party government that is going to devote itself to eliminating all opposition. That’s what’s at stake. If they win, I think the Republican Party essentially ceases to exist.

One of the first things they will do is grant statehood to D.C. and Puerto Rico, and that will give them four Democrat senators. They will never lose control of the Senate. They will never lose control of the House. They will pack the Supreme Court with who knows how many new justices, and they’ll all be left-leaning justices. And it won’t be take them long to do any of this. And after they’ve done it, there will be a one-party state.

The United States will be a one-party government. It will be just like California is now. It’ll be just like New York is now. In California, the Republican Party doesn’t exist. Well, it exists, but they never win anything. In New York, the same thing. Now, you can see what’s happened in New York and California. They are the blueprints and the forerunners for what will happen nationwide if the Democrats win in November.

TODD: Mark our words.

TODD: Mark Rush’s words, and just remember this. We just have to stall H.R. 1. That’s the federal takeover. That’s… It seems like we have to win everything back at once. Certainly, I’d love to. We must all focus on stopping that monstrosity and also packing the courts, right?
