KATHRYN: If Rush were standing here right now, I know he would say to all of you, "It is not time to panic. Just the opposite. America is still the shining city on a hill, and our best days are ahead."
PRESIDENT TRUMP: I also want to pay my love and respect to the great Rush Limbaugh, who is watching closely and smiling down on us.
BRETT: There were huge, huge applause lines aplenty with the different topics and challenges that President Trump was placing out there for the audience on that Sunday afternoon speech.
CALLER: I was at that point in my life where I didn't know what the heck to do. But I just kept hearing Rush multiple times a day and over a period of several days say, "Keep the faith, keep the faith."
BRETT: President Trump mentioned many of those issues with the border policy in his CPAC speech.
BRETT: We'd always love to observe more about Rush's family back in Cape Girardeau as well. What's the story there? What happened there?
BRETT: Rush never wavered in his beliefs. He's always been consistent, as this example from an interview he did with Charlie Rose three decades ago demonstrates.
