RUSH: Well, the times in which we live become even more surreal, become even more unbelievable, and it’s mind-boggling to say the least. Now, I’m gonna try my best here to make sense of what’s happening today and every day. But I’m telling you, the Democrat Party and the American left have embarked on a crusade to literally deny reality at every turn. And in some ways, you’d have to say that they’re getting away with it because of the friends they have in the media.

A little housekeeping. I went out yesterday and indeed — Brian, you were right — my CarPlay app works fine. But on my iOS 14 beta iPhone, I still got the banner that said, “Please check your connection.” But I clicked on one of the tabs up there and it connected and I got the list of things I could choose to listen to, hour 1, hour 2, and the banner went away.

So if you got the Rush Limbaugh app and you try using it with CarPlay in your car and you see a banner when you load the app that says “Please check your connection,” ignore it, just click on one of the tabs at the top of the screen and it should go away.

Okay, now, the surreal nature of what’s happening out there is … folks. I’ve not experienced anything like this. And so trying to explain it in a persuasive way is gonna be a challenge. For example, the Democrat Party is, for all intents and purposes, doing everything it can to say there is no violence happening in any city in America at any time. There are no riots. There is no looting, and there hasn’t been any. There are no firebombs. There’s no tear gas. There’s nothing but peaceful protests. That is all that is happening.

Anything to the contrary is a Republican lie. Anything to the contrary is a Donald Trump lie that is an attempt to divide America and to somehow pit Americans against Americans for the purposes of winning the presidency and reelection in November. But, of course, there aren’t any peaceful protests. Of course, there are riots. There is property damage. There is endless looting. In Portland, 55 nights in a row of it. Seattle is close second.

There was rioting and looting in New York that was televised, but the Democrats are even now denying that that all happened. So today there’s a hearing up on Capitol Hill before a House committee, the Judiciary Committee. And it’s chaired by this raving idiot, Jerry Nadler, who, by the way, was delayed today because he was in a car accident on the way to Capitol Hill. They were supposed to start the thing at 10 o’clock but Nadler was in a car. He wasn’t driving. He wasn’t hurt. So I guess by the end of the day there will not have been a car accident.

So Nadler gets up there and they start this thing. It’s supposed to start at 10:45. It starts a little later. It’s ongoing even now. Every network covered it at the beginning. That is highly unusual. The witness is the attorney general, William Barr. And there’s been all kinds of advance leakage of what Barr is going to say and what he’s going to testify to. And he is going to take it to these Democrats for the fact that they are lying about the federal government trying to protect its property in these places, like Portland and Seattle. He’s gonna launch into them about this bogus four-year investigation of Trump meddling with the Russians and stealing the election. He’s gonna unload on them.

That’s what we were told and what has been leaked. And I don’t doubt that that’s true. The Democrats on this committee are loaded for bear. So every network is covering the opening of this. And Nadler — remember, Nadler’s the guy that was caught in a random interview in Washington I think yesterday, he was asked, “What do you think about all of this out of control rioting and looting going on in Portland?”

He said (paraphrasing), “It’s a myth. There isn’t anything going on in Portland and nothing going on in Seattle.” The Democrats are denying reality here. They’re taking it to a new level, a level that we haven’t had to deal with. This is a more outrageous or egregious denial of reality than even their attempt to say that Trump meddled with the Russians and stole the election. Because this, there is video, there is video of the property damage. There’s video of the violence. There’s video of the fires. There’s video of the Molotov cocktails.

And yet they are in a total state of denial because they’ve got their buddies in the media who are not broadcasting the video. Right-wing so-called media is, but the mainstream media is not. So with all the networks covering the opening of the hearing, Nadler accused the attorney general of everything you could possibly think of that equals corruption of his office.

He accused him of only caring about things that might help Donald Trump get reelected. He practically accused Barr of being Trump’s personal lawyer and thus corrupting the Department of Justice and the office of the attorney general. And every network is covering this. So he unloads with one lie after another about Barr.

In the real world, William Barr is one of the most respected people in that town, or he was. He’s in the same class, integrity and honor, as Robert Mueller was or maybe still is. Barr has been in that town engaged in public service, working at the Department of Justice, working as the attorney general for previous presidents. Up until all this, up until Donald Trump, he was one of the most respect people in town. And it didn’t matter which side of the aisle you were on.

But, of course, with the arrival of Trump, all of that old stuff, all the integrity, all the honor and the people who had it, out the window. And if you happened to be on the side of Donald Trump, supportive of Donald Trump, then you lose every bit of the reputation you ever had, and you become an absolute worthless reprobate. And that’s what William Barr has become. That’s what they’re trying to turn him into today. They’ve tried to turn him into that even before today.

So Nadler unloads with one lie after another about Barr, about how he’s corrupting justice to help Trump, about how he’s interceding to help Trump’s friends, like Michael Flynn and then Roger Stone. He’s being accused of all kinds of things that he hasn’t done. He’s being accused of all kinds of things he would never do. But the networks are covering it in toto.

Then when Nadler finishes, it’s time for the Republican member, Jim Jordan, to have his turn in an opening statement. And Jim Jordan launches into a defense of Barr, an attack on the Democrats, tells the truth about the four-year phony investigation of the Democrats into Trump-Russia collusion. The networks start to abandon coverage.

Then Jordan introduces an exhibit. It is a video montage, the idea of which — obviously — was stolen from this program. We created the audio montage of… I’m joking. We are honored and flattered whenever anybody uses this montage as a technique. In fact, when Jordan started the exhibit, I got a note from Cookie. “Oh, no! Oh, no! I can’t believe it!”

I said, “What’s the matter?”

“I just finished our own montage of this, and now it’s on…”

I said, “Don’t worry about it. We don’t care what anybody else does. Our montage is the only montage that counts. Everybody knows we started the montage. It’s a device we created. We created, actually — at Rush the TV Show and so forth — all kinds of stuff that is now mainstream. I said, “Don’t worry about it.” But it was a long exhibit.

It was a montage of every Democrat you could think of and every member of the media you could think of saying these are “mostly peaceful protests.” But the footage that accompanied that audio was of violence and destruction. It featured property damage. It featured what we all know to be happening in Portland and in Seattle. So the video footage showed the actual damage.

It showed the rioting. It showed looting. It showed the Molotov cocktails being thrown. It showed the tear gassing. It showed what looks like a war zone — and yet the audio was of Democrats saying, “mostly peaceful protests.” Now, the purpose of this was to educate the American people. The American people have not seen this.

If you listen to this program and watch Fox and others, you’ve seen the video. You know what’s going on in Portland. But I’m telling you, people that only watch ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, have no idea what’s going on in Portland, folks. They think what’s going on in Portland is largely peaceful, predominantly white women who are upset at white privilege.

And they’re embarrassed and they’re feeling guilty, but there’s no damage taking place, and there’s no property damage. There’s no destruction. Nobody’s getting hurt. There’s no fires. It just peaceful protests. That’s what people watching mainstream media know.

Now, here’s our montage that Cookie put together, and it’s 39, 40 seconds, but it makes the point, because you have been fed — we’ve all been fed — this line of BS for weeks now that all of this happening in Portland, Seattle is just mostly peaceful protests.

GAYLE KING: Peaceful protests across the country were upended by violence, inflamed by President Trump’s plans to deploy more federal agents.

RUSH: So you see, “It’s just peaceful protests. There’s nothing to see here! And then Trump…! Trump sends federal agents out there, and that’s when it got bad because Trump had no business sending federal agents out there.” And the mayor of Portland, the mayor of Seattle said, “We don’t want federal agents.”

Well, the damage that was being handed out out there was of federal property, and it was required that the federal government defend its own property and the people that work in those buildings, and that’s what was happening. It was entirely lawful. You know what’s really crazy about this?

Here we have the Democrat Party, which believes the federal government is the center of the universe, and now they’re on the side that they’re taking positions here that essentially says the federal government’s got no right to do anything. It’s got no power to do anything — including defend itself — because Donald Trump runs it.

So, anyway, Jordan’s montage showed the destruction. It showed all of the damage. It showed the fire bombings and the lootings and the tear gassings. It showed every bit of it. His montage went on for couple or three minutes while the audio was one Democrat or another saying, “Mostly peaceful protests.”

That’s when the networks bumped out — Jordan’s montage, a long video of the riots — and they went to regular programming. And when it was over, here’s the Democrats. They’ve just watched the truth. They have just watched their lies fully and totally exposed by the Jim Jordan montage video. Did they react to it? No. They acted like, “Nothing to see here.”

They had a couple of curious impugning, critical comments of Jordan and the Republicans and then didn’t react to it, because they know nobody saw it. They know that their buddies in the network media left coverage right after Nadler’s opening statement. They do not want this truth out. The Democrats in the media do not want the truth of what is happening in Portland and what’s happening in Seattle out.

They do not want people knowing the truth.

Why?

Well, the answer is somewhat obvious. It doesn’t make ’em look good. But they’re now literally having to deny reality, and reality for which there is endless evidence in the form of videotape — and, by the way, it’s not just Portland and Seattle. There are near daily riots in Atlanta, in Oakland, in New York City, Denver, Louisville — dozens of other cities — where there are no federal marshals.

They haven’t been deployed, and so there isn’t any federal defense. The riots are happening all over. The Democrat Party is literally promoting — participating in — the destruction of American cities and trying to blame it on Trump. They’re trying to say, “Everything happening in these cities is largely peaceful, nothing to see here — and all this violence starts when Trump sends in his jackbooted federal thugs!”

It’s really surreal to observe all of this.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Okay, a couple of sound bites here to illustrate what is happening. Here is Jerry Nadler, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, reaming the attorney general, Bill Barr — or trying to.

NADLER: You really can’t hide behind legal fictions this time, Mr. Barr. It’s all out in the open where the people can see what you are doing for themselves. The president wants footage for his campaign ads, and you appear to be serving it up to him as ordered. In most of these cities, the protests had begun to wind down before you marched in and confronted the protesters — and the protesters aren’t mobs.

They are mothers and veterans and mayors. In this moment, real leadership would entail de-escalation, collaboration, and looking for ways to peaceably resolve our differences. Instead, you used pepper spay and truncheons on American citizens. And now you are projecting fear and violence nationwide in pursuit of obvious political objectives. Shame on you, Mr. Barr. Shame on you.

RUSH: Folks, every bit (chuckles) of that is just not true. “It’s all out in the open. People can see what you’re doing for themselves. The president wants footage for his campaign ads, and you appear to be serving it up to him,” as though it’s all peaceful out there. Yeah, there’s just… There’s no mobs! There’s mothers, there are veterans, there are mayors.

There aren’t any mothers! There weren’t any veterans! These are people that are actors. They are paid. They’re Antifa. They are Black Lives Matter. And they are all being paid, and they’re putting on different uniforms, different T-shirts and so forth to look like veterans, to look like mothers, but they are all violent, leftist, anti-American protesters in association with the Democrat Party.

Bill Barr is not creating these protests!

He’s not creating the video.

It’s the Democrats who are trying to suppress the video and make it look like something that it isn’t. I mean, it… This is what I meant when I said it is surreal and it’s difficult to describe, because there is reality that you can see. It’s staring you in the face — and right to your face, these Democrats are attempting to redefine what’s going on. Bill Barr is responsible for the violence to give Donald Trump campaign ad video.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: All right. So I’m watching Hank Johnson, Democrat, GA, try to interrogate the attorney general during the break. Isn’t Hank Johnson, isn’t this the guy who was afraid that Guam might end up being too heavily populated and could capsize? Isn’t Hank Johnson the guy that thought Guam could capsize with too many people on it, the island of Guam, something like that.

This guy’s a raving lunatic. He’s an idiot. He’s accusing Barr of things that he hasn’t done. Barr is trying to answer. (imitating Johnson) “I’m claiming my time, you can’t talk now, I’m claiming my time back.”

Barr said, “I’m just trying to tell my story.”

“I don’t care about your story. I’m claiming my time back.”

“I’m just trying to answer your question.”

“You don’t get to answer my question. You sound like Alex Jones, like Roger Stone. You’re nothing but a conspiracy kook.”

It’s surreal. It’s the only word for it. The idea these protests are winding down? What a lie. The rioting in Portland has gone on for 61 nights. That’s two months. No end in sight. The protesters have taken over the streets. They have taken over the bridges. They’ve taken over the freeways. It’s only getting worse. It’s not winding down.

But to hear the Democrats, there’s nothing happening, it’s a bunch of moms and veterans peacefully protesting the reprobate Trump, who only wants campaign footage for his TV commercials. They are giving him the footage. They are creating it. I mean, the lie that Trump wanted rioting for campaign ads was started by a fake news story in the Washington Post, which claimed that an anonymous source told them that. They just made it up. They just made it up like they made up every story about Trump colluding with the Russians. Literally made it up. Anonymous source, Washington Post, July 24th.

“White House officials have stated that Trump became interested in federal operations against the protesters in Portland seeing them as a means of underscoring his law-and-order message. An official added that the White House had long wanted to amplify strife in cities, and it was about getting viral online content.” That is an anonymous source published in the Washington Post back on July 24th which sets the basis for all of this, it’s nothing but peaceful protests, and Trump is sending his jackbooted thug federal agents in there to stir everything up so he can get lying, fake, phony video footage for his upcoming campaign commercials.

It’s the exact opposite of the truth. By the way, here’s Barr’s response to Nadler, who said (imitating Nadler), “You can’t hide anymore, Mr. Barr. You can’t hide behind legal fiction. Shame on you, Barr. Shame on you.”

BARR: Portland, the courthouse, is under attack. The federal resources are inside the perimeter around the courthouse defending it from almost two months of daily attacks where people marched to the court, try to gain entrance, and have set fires, thrown things, used explosives, injured police, including just this past weekend perhaps permanently blinding three federal officers with lasers. We are on the defense. We’re not out looking for trouble. And if the state and the city would provide the law enforcement services and other jurisdictions too, we would have no need to have additional marshals in the courthouse.

RUSH: Bingo. There you go. If the state and the city, if these governors would act responsibly and provide defense mechanisms and take action against the people who are willfully destroying property and creating bodily harm, if the governors would do their jobs, there wouldn’t be any need for the federal government to send in its own forces to defend the federal building because a responsible governor would be doing this.

But again, we have blue state governors, blue state mayors, and it’s the most amazing thing. The Democrat Party is, as I said yesterday, literally willing to have this country entirely destroyed because they lost an election. Such a bunch of childish boobs. All of this is happening because they can’t believe they lost in 2016 to Donald Trump. It really isn’t any more complicated than that. You can make it more complicated than that, but that’s what drives this. They can’t believe they lost.

And they’re gonna take it out on everybody they think is responsible for it, especially Trump and his voters. And if they have to destroy the country, well, then all the better because they can set it up brand-new as a socialist utopia. But it is obvious that you go to these states — Washington, Oregon, Minnesota — these governors and the mayors in some of the cities literally do not care about the destruction of property, businesses, and what else is all happening. They don’t care about it because it’s aiding and abetting the objective of getting rid of Donald Trump.

Audio sound bite number 12. This Jenny Durkan. She is the mayor of Seattle. She was on CNN last night. Question: “The president says he thinks mayors like you are refusing his help and those standby forces that he’s offered because he’s the one offering it. What do you say to that?”

DURKAN: The president’s actions clearly have escalated things in Seattle and across the country. I was just talking to a number of mayors throughout the country who saw a similar thing, that people wanting to act out against the president and his administration coming to the streets. I really believe that we are seeing the dry run for martial law. This is a president that is using law enforcement and federal forces for political purposes, and that should be chilling to every American.

RUSH: Marshal law? Do you think the president of the United States thinks the route to reelection is marshal law? I mean, they’re just making this up as they go. And, folks, let me tell you what enables this. They know they have the media. They know the media is them. So whatever outrageous thing they say is gonna be amplified, credited, and promoted.

“I was talking to a number of mayors across the country, they see a similar thing. People want to act out against the president, his administration, so they’re coming to the streets. I really believe we’re seeing the dry run for marshal law. The president is using law enforcement and federal forces for political purposes.” They see what is happening to their large cities, and they don’t care. That is among the difficult things for me to process. They’re watching it, 61 nights in a row in Portland.

They are watching the literal destruction of government and private property, and they don’t care. For some reason it’s furthering a political objective. But I think they’ve lost their marbles. We’re looking at insanity on display. And it is an insanity that has been created and driven by the fact that they lost an election they thought we were gonna win in a landslide.

And they thought that election was gonna be the continuation the Obama administration with Hillary Clinton in charge and they were gonna finally get to transform this country into the socialist state that they’ve always dreamed it shouldn be, and they were thwarted. And they were thwarted by Mr. Orange Man. They were thwarted by somebody they think has no business even being in their club. He doesn’t have any business, he’s not from their club, he’s an outsider, he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

The fact that this guy came along and beat them, the seasoned pros, they just can’t deal with this. And you might say, “Well, Rush, it’s been four years. At some point they’ll get over it.” No it’s been compounded. Because, folks, in the four years that have ensued, they’ve tried every which way they know to get rid of him, and those things have bombed out as well.

They couldn’t beat him with Hillary Clinton, who is the smartest woman in the world. They couldn’t beat him in a presidential election where the polls all said he was losing by eight to 12 points. Then they had the FBI running a three-year scam, effectively a coup. That didn’t get rid of him. Then they brought in Bob Mueller for two years. That didn’t get rid of him. Then they had Avenatti and what’s her name, Stormy Daniels. Then they had Michael Cohen.

They brought in everybody they could think of. Then they had the Ukraine business, and they had the whistleblower. And they had all those ambassadors from Ukraine, all these political professionals, all of these ambassadorial professionals, the smartest people in the world, they couldn’t lay a glove on Trump.

So for the entire four years where they have been trying to get rid of him, they have failed, and it’s just compounded their frustration. What they don’t realize is they’ve tried to get rid of Trump on the basis of one lie after another. There hasn’t been anything substantive. And since what they have tried has not been real, it really didn’t stand much of a chance.

So this is where we are here. By the way, one more before we go to the break. This is Nadler Sunday on Twitter. A user with the handle Essential Fleccas posted a video to his page where he had run into Nadler and asks him about Antifa and unrest in Portland.

NADLER: That’s a myth that’s being spread only in Washington, D.C.

FLECCAS: About Antifa in Portland?

NADLER: Yes.

FLECCAS: Sir, there’s videos everywhere online.

NADLER: (balking)

FLECCAS: There’s fires and riots. They’re throwing fireworks at federal officers. DHS is there. Look online.

RUSH: “No, no. No, that’s a myth. There’s no rioting in Portland,” he says. “No, no, no, no, no. That’s a myth. That’s just a story in Washington. That’s not really happening.” Now, of course does Nadler really believe that or is this part of the act? It doesn’t really matter, but I’m just curious, ’cause I don’t know about you; I don’t have the ability to lie like this.

Knowing full well that I would be lying and that anybody with the barest of effort could prove that I was lying, I don’t have the ability to do it. It’s not in my makeup. It’s not in my constitution. These people, it’s a way of life. And I’m telling you: What enables it is the media. I hate to keep beating a dead horse here, but that’s what enables these people to continue to operate the way they are. They are never called out on it.

RUSH: Just one more example of what’s going on in this hearing. This is Steve Cohen. Audio sound bite number 24. He is from Tennessee. He is an uber-radical, insane, irrational leftist — and he hates Trump. He despises Trump. He hates you. He hates me. He hates anybody who is not a Democrat or not a liberal.

COHEN: In Portland, we’ve seen mothers and we’ve seen veterans who are peacefully protesting — not threatening the federal courthouse — beaten and gassed.

RUSH: (groaning)

COHEN: Unidentified, armed federal agents violently attacked demonstrators in a violation of —

RUSH: (groaning)

COHEN: — the First Amendment’s freedom of assembly and arrested citizens without individualized suspicion.

RUSH: (groaning)

COHEN: Maybe what happened was your secret police were poorly trained. Just like your Bureau of Prisons guards were poorly trained and allowed the most notorious inmate in our nation’s last several years, Jeffrey Epstein, to conveniently commit suicide. Sad! You misled Congress and the American people about Special Counsel Mueller’s findings with be your, quote, “summary.”

In Michael Cohen, you’ve treated him differently than Michael Flynn and Roger Stone. And Michael Flynn, you’ve attempted to dismiss the charges even after he twice pled guilty. And Roger Stone, you went further. That’s why I introduced H.Res.1023 which would require this committee to investigate your conduct as attorney general and determine whether you should be impeached.

RUSH: All right. So Barr’s blamed for everything. He’s blamed for Epstein. He’s blamed for the jackbooted thugs out in Portland, Seattle. He’s blamed for Roger Stone, blamed for everything, and should be impeached. It’s just… I tell you what. It’s fascinating to watch these people, but it’s troubling, too, because they continue to get away with it.

I’ve been doing this for 32 years, and the entirety of the 32 years, I keep waiting for that magical day when a majority of the American people are gonna rise up and say, “This is BS, this is crazy,” and reject these people, and it hasn’t happened. Well, that’s not true. Trump was elected. It has happened. It has happened. It’s just they…

They’re like cockroaches. They never go away, and they threaten the very fabric of the Constitution and democracy precisely because they will not accept election results, and they haven’t really accepted election results since 2000 and George W. Bush and Algore.

RICHMOND: Attorney General Barr, you started your testimony with eloquent words about the life and legacy of John Lewis. The one thing that you have in common with your two predecessors, both Attorney General Sessions and Attorney General Whitaker, is that when you all came here and brought your top staff, you brought no black people. That, sir, is systematic (sic) racism. That is exactly what John Lewis spent his life fighting, and so I would just suggest that actions speak louder than words, and you should really should (sic) keep the name of the honorable John Lewis out of the Department of Justice’s mouth.

RUSH: Okay. So these people go after a black, female, immigrant doctor but have to attack Barr ’cause he didn’t bring any black associates with him to the hearing today — and that is proof of “systematic…” It’s systemic, Congressman. That’s “systematic,” he says, “racism,” and (impression) “Because you’re a systematic racist, I don’t want you ever hear the word John Lewis come out your racist, bigoted mouth or anybody else at the Department of Justice!”

And we have to take these lamebrains seriously.

RUSH: Rioters have barricaded Department of Homeland Security officers in Portland’s courthouse. They tried to set it on fire. The peaceful protesters in Portland barricaded Department of Homeland Security officers inside a federal courthouse, tried to burn the building down. You got no media coverage. That’s why I’m telling you about it now.

U.S. attorney says the Feds are gonna stay in Portland until these attacks end. The mayors of Portland, five other major U.S. cities, are calling trying to stop the burning down of federal buildings and egregious use of federal force.

I’m not making this up. Federal officers are in protecting federal courthouses, which are under attack, and the mayors of Portland and five other cities are saying that the federal attempt to save federal buildings is an egregious use of federal force. So I guess what? That federal officials are just to get out of the building, stand aside, and let the protesters destroy these courthouses?

CALLER: Well, I had two questions for you or just needing your information because it’s driving me crazy. Every day I turn on the news in the evening and I see this chaos going on in these cities, and I’m wondering, “Do these mayors actually have this kind of power and are they above the law?”

And the reason why I asked you that is because when President Trump tries to do something good for the country — such as shutting down borders or ending policies that are hurting the country — you get some liberal judge somewhere in some city, in some state and he stands up or she stands up and says, “No, you can’t do that,” and then the president’s having to fight it in the Supreme Court. Is there anybody that can stop these mayors from doing these lawless acts? I mean, people are dying.

RUSH: Yeah, this is actually a very good question.

CALLER: Thank you.

RUSH: And what’s missing is that we don’t have anybody on our side that wants to stop the mayors. We don’t have anybody going to federal court, getting an injunction saying the mayors have to go in and stop this from taking place, that they must enforce the law. In fact, the Democrat Party is doing what? They’re in the midst of a new policy defunding the cops in Democrat-run states and cities. (sigh) It’s a frustrating thing. I can hear the frustration in your voice.

CALLER: Yeah. It’s ridiculous. Here these children are getting killed, and babies are losing their lives, and it’s just… I mean, you know, I just drives me nuts. These mayors should be in shackles and handcuffs. They gotta answer for this. This is ridiculous. People are dying.

RUSH: I know! There’s blood on their hands! There are people’s businesses that have been destroyed. This all started in Seattle and that idiot mayor calling it the Summer of Love. People’s property was taken care of. People’s property was destroyed. The cops were run out of their precinct building —

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: — and nobody did anything about it.

CALLER: It is not one thing.

RUSH: Including the citizens. This is another… You know, you can sit there and ask, “Why isn’t somebody acting?” The people that lost their property weren’t doing anything to stop it. The people that were seeing their property damaged were not doing anything. They were totally… I don’t know what. They were afraid or intimidated or what have you.

I understand your frustration. The left seems to be able to find a federal judge in Outer Slobbovia that can stop Trump on any lawful thing he attempts — and yet these people get to defund the police. They get to commandeer private property, they get to oversee the destruction of private property, and there doesn’t seem to be any way of stopping them or hold them accountable? I understand your frustration.

CALLER: Yes, sir. Well, and it’s like two people that were defending their home and then the cops come in and take their guns, and now they’re prosecute them for their guns and they didn’t do anything wrong, and basically try to financially destroy them.

RUSH: You’re talking about the McCloskeys in St. Louis?

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I think her gun was not even a working gun. She had that little cap gun pistol that she was waving around. Yeah, I know. You’re touching all of my buttons here. It’s frustrating, and it goes back to a question we got earlier which is why do so many people on our side not seem to recognize the severity and the danger posed by the radical nature of the people on the left who are our — at best — political opponents.
