RUSH: The Washington Post has discovered a new victim of the coronavirus: EcoHealth Alliance, a New York City-based nonprofit.

Starting in 2008 under the Obama Administration, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases headed by Dr. Fauci, gave EcoHealth Alliance millions of dollars in federal grants, in order to research viruses. In particular, viruses from bats. Viruses that could cause pandemics.

Now, incidentally, EcoHealth Alliance had a “partner” that helped them study bat viruses. That would be the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, ChiCom.

Now, everything was going along swimmingly, according to the Post, until the bad Orange Man stepped in. The Amazon-Prime/Washington Post says — without evidence — that the bad Orange Man started fueling suspicion of the Wuhan Lab. Orange Man and some of his top aides questioned whether the virus that killed thousands and shut down our economy might have come from the Wuhan lab.

And that, according to the Post, created a tragedy for EcoHealth Alliance’s important bat virus work. The grant spigot got shut off. All those millions of American taxpayer dollars dried up — and you know who the Post blames?

China? Noooo! No!

They blame President Trump, for actually raising questions about the origins of the virus that has crippled our nation. The ChiComs are the good guys, you see? President Trump is the bad guy. He’s the enemy. That’s the way these deranged liberals literally do see the world!
