RUSH: Nancy Pelosi, issuing a stern warning to the presidential candidates in her own party: “What are you thinking?”

Speaker Pelosi says that she can ask this question, because she has street cred as a San Francisco liberal. Pelosi told Bloomberg News that campaign ideas like the wealth tax and the 50 trillion dollar Medicare-for-All plan coming from Fauxcahontas Warren and Crazy Bernie could doom Democrats in November 2020. These far-left policies might play well with fellow progressives, she says, but they’re not going to appeal to swing voters in Trump states.

“Remember November,” said Pelosi. “You must win the Electoral College.”

Nancy Pelosi – the San Francisco liberal – says the far-left base of her party is mad at her because she isn’t a socialist. But she’s just as much a socialist as Crazy Bernie and Fauxcahontas Warren are. If Pelosi thought her party could get away with pushing a wealth tax or Medicare-for-All right down voters’ throats before the election, she’d pass them into law tomorrow.

But she knows the only way Democrats can get their socialist agenda through is to lie to the American people. “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it,” remember that?

That’s why she’s so upset. It’s like Beto O’Rourke. He should have waited until he won the election before telling people he’s going to take their guns away.  That’s all Pelosi is saying.
