RUSH: Before we get started here, folks, for those of you still in shock over yesterday’s program, I had to do it.  I had to fix it. I couldn’t leave it incorrect as I did. Five Democrat senators have gone on the record threatening the Supreme Court. They are warning the Justices they’d better change their ways.

The threat is in a legal brief warning the court to stay out of a gun case. The Democrat senators said the Supreme Court “isn’t well … and people know it.” They wrote, “Perhaps the court can heal itself before the public demands that it be ‘restructured in order to reduce the influence of politics.’”

So, this gang of five Democrat senators doesn’t like the court’s rulings; if the justices don’t change, the senators are gonna remake the court. They’re gonna pack it until they get rulings they like.

These are the Democrat political gangsters threatening the Supreme Court: Sheldon Whitehouse, Rhode Island; Richard Blumenthal, Connecticut; Mazie Hirono, the man-hater from Hawaii; Dick Durbin, Illinois; and bringing up the rear, Kirsten Gillibrand who stepped out of a bag of flour in New York.

Threatening the Supreme Court — in writing, no less? Unheard of! But that’s who these Democrats are when they don’t get their way.
