RUSH: I didn’t know about this until Cookie delivered to me the sound bite roster. Well, I get an advance copy since I’m host. I get an advanced copy about 15 minutes before the program — which I think is a considerate thing for her to do, to send me an advance copy of the sound bites before the program starts. It’s very considerate. A lot of producers wouldn’t do that, but she does. Anyway, apparently my interview with Martha MacCallum on the Fox News Channel caused some… I don’t know what it was, but it was enough that she had to read emails from viewers at the end of her program the next day — which would be last night, I guess — and here is a little bit of that segment.
MACCALLUM: We got a big reaction to last night’s interview with Rush Limbaugh. Here’s what some of you had to say. Lisa in Oklahoma writes, “…I loved seeing Rush on the show and particularly like the topics. I know Rush can be extra… but I love it, and you can’t see his expression on the radio.” Marcella said, “Thank you for introducing us to Rush Limbaugh, to all of us this evening. Many of us who are working during the day don’t have the opportunity to listen to him on the radio. He’s a real thinker, intelligent, well spoken, a true gentleman,” she writes. They were almost all — basically all — positive. All the emails that we got coming to The Story.
RUSH: Imagine that! (laughing) It’s a shock. It’s a stunner. All of the reaction was positive. (laughing) Well, I know. Except… They may not have gotten around to reading the email from John Boehner. (laughing) But it was all positive.

RUSH: In the emails that Martha MacCallum read, she quotes Marcella: “Thank you for introducing all of us to Rush Limbaugh, to all of us this evening. Many of us who are working during the day don’t have the opportunity to listen to him on the radio.” If anybody knows this woman, Marcella, remind her of the RushLimbaugh.com app.
Even if you can’t listen during the day to a radio, you can go out and get the app that connects to our website, RushLimbaugh.com, and it’s got a lot of free-side content available, including streaming of the program and transcripts. If you subscribe, become a member, then you get access to the Dittocam and all of the audio and video archives. But the app is the way around if you’re someplace you can’t receive a radio signal or you’re somewhere they don’t allow you to listen. Get the app and a pair of AirPods and you’re ready to go.
