RUSH: There’s a revealing story this week from the AP, of all places, about hidden provisions they found in the Democrats’ Medicare-for-All legislation.

Crazy Bernie is the face of the bill in the Senate; Michigan Congresswoman Debbie Dingell is a face of the measure in the House.

Before I get to the hidden stuff, keep in mind what we already know. The Medicare-for-All plan would cost thirty trillion, not billion, thirty trillion. The national debt right now is about 20 trillion and counting.

The first “secret” in the bill would push that price tag even higher. Turns out, illegal immigrants will be eligible for 100 percent coverage and 100 percent free health care under the Democrats’ bill. The restrictions on illegals under Obamacare, which weren’t always enforced anyway, are gone.

Second “secret.” The Hyde Amendment, stipulating that federal money can’t be used for abortions, is itself aborted. Democrats don’t just want Medicare-for-All, they want abortions-for-all, even after birth. And, if they use New York and Virginia as models, then they’ll pull that off as well.

For those of you who want to elect Democrats, it can only mean one thing. You either don’t know what’s going on, or you do want this country destroyed, which is it?
