Caller Waited 30 Years to Talk to Rush and This Is What She Said

by Rush Limbaugh - Feb 25,2019

RUSH: This is Rebecca in Houston. It’s great to have you, Rebecca. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. Mega dittos to you. I’ve been waiting —

RUSH: Thank you. Thank you very much.

CALLER: I’ve been waiting years to talk to you. I can’t even tell you. I been listening to you since college back in 1989. I even wrote a paper about you. This is pre-internet. I was a Journalism-Speech-Communications Major — and Business — and (laughing) I wrote a paper about you in my journalism class — and this was, like I said, pre-internet; so it was difficult to research.

RUSH: What grade did you get on it, Rebecca?

CALLER: I got an A.

RUSH: Well! See? Here we have a highly educated professional woman on our side who gets an A on a paper. That’s a great. It’s great to have people like you in the audience. I’m very flattered. Thank you.

CALLER: Yes, and it was hard to get information. In fact, back then I thought EIB was the… You know, how to look it up. So I called information and they didn’t have anything in New York on EIB. (laughing) So I had to do a lot of research, spend a lot of time in the library, but mainly I used your show that I listened to to get context for my paper. And shout-out to my mom and my dad who’ve been married 65 years and they’re in their… They’re octogenarians, and they’re the ones that turned me on to you back when you started. So a shout-out to them and my two friends, Neil and Dave Stoviak (ph). We listen to you religiously.

RUSH: Well, I appreciate that more than you know. That is great. (chuckles) We had people going to New York trying to find the EIB Building, too, asking people where that was. Thank you very much, Rebecca.
