RUSH: Hey, look at this New York Times headline: “Would Human Extinction Be a Tragedy?“

The op-ed’s author, Clemson University professor Todd May, says this very question is being discussed in “philosophical circles.”

He says it wouldn’t be bad if all humans were wiped out, because humanity is responsible for climate change, which is wiping out entire ecosystems. He says humans engage in “factory farming,” which is bad, because it kills millions of animals.

Professor May says humans — and that means you! You are the cause of devastation for conscious animals on massive scale. You and your meat-eating, car-driving habits make life miserable for everything else that lives on this earth. So how could it be a tragedy if you all just died?

Not only won’t it be a tragedy, it will be a blessing, he says.

So do it! Now! All of you!

Oh, yeah. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year’s to you, too! Folks, these people are serious! I’ve been trying to tell you for 25 years: These people are serious! They are clinically insane and they are serious. You have to fight back against this stuff — and laugh about it at the same time, if you can.
