RUSH: This is kind of a strange picture to me. Right now Senate Republican leaders are holding a press conference on today’s leadership election. That’s right. Republican Senate leaders had an election today, and that determined who the new leaders for the Republican majority in the Senate are. Fine and dandy.

While that is going on, in Palm Beach County they’re gonna have to start their recount over because the voting machines overheated. The caravan has reached the southern border in Tijuana. I thought that was just an election stunt created by Trump? Remember the media telling us there was no caravan? This is made up by Trump to gin up his base. Well, they’re here, and they’re climbing the fence in Tijuana.

Meanwhile, the secretary of defense Mattis, Mad Dog Mattis is down on the Texas-Mexican border with Kirstjen Nielsen, Homeland Security, assuring everybody that troops are not gonna be interacting with migrants. This will strictly be a law enforcement issue. Statutorily, the ICE and Border Patrol people will be the ones that are acting with migrants crossing the border. The military is just there in a support situation.

The Republicans are having a press conference on who won their leadership election today. While that is going on, the overheating voting machines in Palm Beach County said the reason for this is they’re 10 years old and they cannot handle the stress! Ten-year-old technology cannot handle the stress! How often have they been used in 10 years? There are only elections every two years, they’re only put to work for a couple days even then. But they’re overheating.

All of this just adds up to delay, delay, delay. And as there are more delays, there are more opportunities to find votes. And you know where they’re finding ’em. By the way, in six — I think six out of 10 House races now — this is not the Senate. This is not Florida. This is another matter. Six out of 10 House races are close to being flipped to the Democrats based on provisional ballots. You know, I warned everybody about these provisional ballots stuff on the day after election.

A provisional ballot is cast by somebody whose eligibility is questioned at the time they submit the ballot, either on Election Day or early voting, absentee. Provisional ballots are not counted. They’re set aside, and they’re only used if needed because it’s not even known if they’re eligible, if they’re legal. Rather than tie everybody up on Election Day when somebody shows up who can’t prove that they’re eligible, they’re given a provisional ballot.

Well, guess what? Who do you think shows up and has provisional ballots cast? A bunch of people that aren’t registered to vote! And they’re done for just this reason. They show up in states where traditionally elections are close. You never hear about this in New York or California, although there is a congressional race in California where this is a factor, and it looks like it’s a seat the Republicans held that they’re gonna lose.

But for the most part you don’t hear about this in states where elections are not close. But in Florida and Ohio, elections are always close. And so it’s not difficult for Democrats to connive a strategy, conceive a strategy of having a bunch of people show up either early voting or absentee or Election Day who aren’t eligible who are given provisional ballots, provisional ballots are cast, and then they end up being counted, and this is what we’re looking at right now.

Six out of 10 House races on the verge of being flipped to Democrat on the basis of the counting of provisional ballots. The assessment has it been made whether the voter was legal or not, and depending on who runs the counting process, well, you know how that goes. Why is it we assume that only Democrats do this and why is it we assume that Republicans do not flood the zone this way? It’s a good question.

I don’t know that Republicans don’t do it. I’m sure I’m with you. We just don’t envision Republicans caring this much. We don’t envision them planning this they may, we gotta be honest. We don’t know. But we do know that Democrats do it and they do not accept results where they lose. They simply do not. It’s getting more and more intense this way, and we’re seeing it now.

In Georgia, Stacey Abrams, “We gotta delay this.” And Hillary Clinton, “We gotta delay the count,” because if we delay the count we’re gonna find more votes. We gotta find more votes. We got to count every vote.

Meanwhile, the Republicans are holding a press conference announcing who won the leadership position in the leadership elections that they had. (interruption) What do you mean, what’s my point? Well, the Republicans are focused on themselves and so forth. There’s a whole lot of stuff going on out there. (interruption) No, no, no, I’m not suggesting the Republicans, if they weren’t doing their elections, could stop it. It’s just an interesting contrast to me.

The Democrats are going through the same thing. By the way, the anti-Pelosi mobs are reducing up in the House and we’ve got Elijah Cummings. Audio sound bite coming up. Congressional Black Caucasians basically telling Millennials to go stuff it and hang on and wait their turn, they’re too young to be in leadership, the leadership’s gonna have to hold their hands. This is not gonna sit well.

We’ve got CNN totally in the tank for Pelosi in the form of Dana Bash. It’s become obvious that Dana Bash is the closest thing to somebody working for Pelosi in the Drive-By Media that we would encounter. But delaying votes, overheating voting machines, caravans starting to arrive. I mean, one of those days where if you’re not able to keep things in perspective, it looks like we are being overrun.

Now, these delays and deadline extensions, not just Florida, a federal judge has ordered Georgia to wait until Friday to certify the results of their midterm elections. The judge says she’s acting over concerns about the state’s voter registration system and the handling of provisional ballots again! Here we are. Do you know who the judge is? The judge is the sister of Nina Totenberg, who reports on the Supreme Court for NPR. I forget what her first name is. But her last name is Totenberg.

What does this mean? It means the judge is a radical, extreme leftist. And the judge, a federal judge, has ordered Georgia to wait until Friday to certify the results. The judge says she’s acting out of concerns about the state’s voter registration system. Yes, obviously we know where this is going. Stacey Abrams, African-American. So obviously Republicans in Georgia pulled a fast one and tried to limit voter participation by African-Americans by screwing around with the voter registration.

You can see where this is headed. You see where the allegation is headed. The judge is making the case herself rather than waiting for a lawyer to show up in her courtroom to do it. And also the handling of provisional ballots. Where will that head? Well, the judge will say some provisional ballots that are eligible might be eliminated. Republicans are these people that run the polling centers might be throwing them out when they shouldn’t be and I need the extra time to make sure that they are counted.

The judge, Nina Totenberg’s sister, is an Obama appointee. Amy Totenberg, sister of Nina Totenberg. It’s just an interesting point of fact. I’m not saying it matters. I’m just saying we know by virtue of this that she’s like all Obama appointees, a radical leftist activist as well as being a judge. I mean, that’s the point. That’s the reason why they are appointed.

Now, the mainstream media’s assuring everybody that the Democrats are not trying to steal elections. So don’t worry about that. It is a lie. The Drive-By Media is saying it is a lie that Democrats are trying to steal elections. The media say so, don’t worry about it. In fact, the media say there’s absolutely no evidence of any voter fraud or any other criminal activity.

It’s perfectly legitimate to mix in provisional ballots with regular ballots so they can’t be examined and challenged, and this is one of the things that’s happening. The provisional ballots, it’s one of the reasons I’ve been focusing on them, and we haven’t even gotten to the ballots of undervotes and overvotes.

That’s where human interpretation comes into play. What did the voter really intend if he didn’t vote for either candidate? And what did the voter really intend if the voter accidentally voted for both candidates? Well, whoever runs the election polling place will get to determine the answer to those questions.

Meanwhile, the caravan that was never gonna make it to the U.S. border is now at the U.S. border, the same caravan that we were assured would never reach us because it was impossible to walk a thousand miles, is showing up at the border in Tijuana.

And guess what? They took buses. They took lots of buses, brought them to the border. And it turns out that there was a guy down there embedded with this particular caravan and he took video, he posted it on Facebook. He appeared on Fox last night. And we have the audio of some of that coming up as well.

Try this headline from NPR. “LGBT Splinter Group From Migrant Caravan Is The 1st To Arrive In Tijuana.” Are you telling me that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgenders have a splinter group that’s in the caravan? And they are the first to arrive in Tijuana? NPR is very happy about this, don’t misunderstand.

“A group of LGBT migrants who were part of the massive caravan slowly marching toward the U.S. made it to the coastal border city of Tijuana on Sunday. They are the first of more than 3,600 Central Americans –” Oh, the news is that five million more Central Americans want to form a caravan and come to the United States. Five million! Not 5,000 or 50,000. Five million.

“About 80 migrants, the majority of whom identify as LGBT, splintered off from the larger group in Mexico City after weeks of what they say was discriminatory treatment by local residents and other travelers.”

So the LGBT splinter group was being discriminated against within the caravan and in places they stopped, so they split off. They formed their own sub mini-caravan that enabled them to move faster. They arrived at the border 80 strong. This according to Honduran migrant Cesar Mejia at a news conference on Sunday.

He said, “Whenever we arrived at a stopping point the LGBT community was the last to be taken into account in every way. So our goal was to change that and say, ‘This time we are going to be first.'” So they didn’t hang around. I guess they put in a call to George Soros and said we need a special bus or something. Whatever they needed was granted and they’re the first to show up.

An unidentified transgender woman said, “We are fleeing a country where there’s a lot of crime against us.” So it’s not just the United States where transgenders are discriminated against. It also happens to be in Central America. Is this not convenient or what, for these people?

“The LGBT migrants gravitated toward one another within the caravan.” I guess they have gaydar where they can identify each other just by being in their presence. Well, it says here they gravitated to one another within the caravan, and then they began organizing en route!

So the LGBT members, they joined individually, showed up, and then once they got in the caravan they spotted each other, and then they began organizing while on the way. “An internal count revealed there were more than 120 LGBT people among them. Their number emboldened the collective to forge their own path.” Look at all the communist words in this story! An internal count revealed, blah, blah, blah, “Their number emboldened the collective to forge their own path northward, which they did after linking up with an assortment of U.S. and Mexico-based LGBT groups that paid for the asylum-seekers to travel by bus.”

Well, there it is! They somehow sent signals to LGBT groups in Mexico and the United States that they were coming, that they had organized. And a bus was dispatched to pick them up. This is Cesar Mejia again. “When we entered Mexican territory, those organizations began to help us. We did not contact them; they learned from our group thanks to the media and decided to help us.”

They didn’t even know they were there. the media told American and Mexican LGBT groups that there was an LGBT group organizing in the caravan and they then dispatched help to get them to the front of the line.
