RUSH: Now, the update on Strzok and Page, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. These are the FBI agent and lawyer. She was a counsel, the lawyer, and Strzok was the agent that was largely involved and behind the effort to doctor this whole investigation that Trump had colluded with Russia.

He was the prime mover of this. Well, Comey actually before him. But Strzok was the line operator who was making all of this happen. And texts between him and Lisa Page have revealed the collusion, have revealed the conspiracy they were involved in to, A, stop Trump from being elected, and then to prevent his presidency from succeeding, try to corrupt his transition period. They implanted spies within the Trump campaign. You know the drill on this. Well, a new batch of texts between Strzok Smirk and Lisa Page reveal a bunch of things.

Among those things is that they were coordinating leaks to the media. They are coordinating leaks such as those we heard from those in the New York Times and the Washington Post. They were attributed to the intelligence community and former U.S. government officials that there was indeed evidence — and it was stockpiling! Evidence of Trump and Russia colluding to steal the election. Now, every story for a year and a half, every story had no evidence. They made a point that there’s no evidence, but it was only a matter of time. For a year and a half.

These leaks largely — not exclusively, but largely — were coming from these two people in the FBI! The FBI was leaking all this under the guise of being intelligence officials and former and current U.S. government officials. And then those leaks to the media get published as news stories and broadcast as news stories. Now it’s time for the FBI to go to the FISA court and get a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign, and the way they did that was to single out a guy named Carter Page. Because they claimed that they had information that Carter Page in his previous jobs before he’d worked for Trump had been visiting Russia. He had contacts with high-ranking Russian people.

So they just, whether it’s true or not, they accused Carter Page of being an operative. And they went to the FISA court to get a warrant to spy on Carter Page. They tried three times. They failed the first two times, I believe. The third time was the charm that they finally got the warrant to spy. But in addition to laying to the FISA judge and not telling the FISA judge that the Steele dossier — which was also a primary bit of “evidence,” quote, unquote, they used to get the warrant.

They never told the FISA court that it was Hillary Clinton opposition research. They never told them that it was bought and paid for. They never said it was made up. They never said that all of the stuff in the Steele dossier, none of it was true. So they used that. And then when they leaked these stories over the course of a year, when the stories then got published, they would go to the FISA court and say, “See, Judge? The media even has this stuff. The media even is on to it! It’s really happening, and we need a warrant to spy.”

Well, the only reason the media had it was because Strzok Page were leaking it to ’em. Now, in the face of this new revelation, “Struck/Stroke” — and by the way, I pronounce his name that way ’cause I didn’t know how it was pronounced when he first showed up, so I wanted to cover my bases. I didn’t know if it was Peter “Struck” or Peter “Stroke,” and then I saw the guy; he smirks all the time. So I called him “Struck/Stroke Smirk,” for those of you that don’t know. Strzok Smirk is now saying (paraphrased), “Those texts with Lisa Page were not about us leaking to the media.

“We were trying to plug leaks. We were talking about stopping leaks,” which is a flat-out lie. It flat-out is untrue. Now the latest edition to this is — and this comes to us from Sara Carter. “Former FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and his paramour former FBI attorney Lisa Page exchanged text messages several months before the 2016 election that suggest the pair were writing an op-ed together and that the FBI seemingly ‘authorized’ a Washington Post story on potential Russian interference during the November elections.”

These two were gonna write a bylined op-ed in the Washington Post on Russian interference, and there wasn’t any. They made it up! Well, I always have to backtrack here. There was Russian interference and collusion, but it all happened with the Hillary campaign and the DNC. There wasn’t any Trump-Russia collusion. There never was. There isn’t any evidence. There is evidence that Hillary and the DNC were colluding.

Well, we know they were because the Steele dossier could not have been written were there not collusion between the Hillary campaign and Fusion GPS and the law firm and the Russian spies and Christopher Steele — and, by the way, that stuff? None of it is being investigated by Mueller. It’s being overlooked. That’s the stuff being covered up by this investigation. So these two, in addition to leaking to the media, were gonna right an op-ed, bylined “FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page,” on collusion between Trump and Russia.

“On Sept. 2, 2016, Page texts Strzok about writing an op-ed: ‘Got it. But we are still writing the op-ed, yes?’ Strzok replies, ‘Yes, ish. [sic] He said too much data would be good to identify the key pieces of data and frame it in an argument, but not to spend ‘too much time on the opening or closing.’ I told him we were too much of perfectionists to not do all of it.’ On September 5, 2016, Page sends Strzok a link to the Washington Post article titled, ‘U.S. Investigating Potential Covert Russian Plan to Disrupt November Elections.’

“Strzok replies, ‘This is the one (redacted) was talking about I think.’ Page then says, ‘Yup. It is very well sourced. 100% authorized.’ Strzok then tells Page, ‘Just read the article. We say a lot of the same things. I guess that’s O.K.'” So they were gonna write an op-ed. They’re talking about a Washington Post story here. They were gonna write an op-ed off of a Washington story.

“The Washington Post story refers to the Harry Reid briefing, stating, ‘After [Harry Reid] ended a secure 30-minute phone briefing given by a top intelligence official recently, he was “deeply shaken,”‘” by what he had learned about Trump. So much BS! Now, it was John Brennan who briefed Harry Reid about the Trump dossier, that Reid was supposedly so shaken over — and it was all caca, folks.

None of it, none of it was true. Brennan brief reads so that Reid could write an open letter about the FBI’s investigations of Trump-Russia collusion to help get that news out to facilitate the FISA warrant. All of this was calculated — was conceived and assembled and put together — by FBI agents and these two particularly to get in the public domain the lying, stinking allegation that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election. Not a shred of it is true! So they’ve been caught in it here. I don’t know how many times these two have been caught.

They were originally on Mueller’s team of investigators until the texts revealed that they were having an affair, and Mueller said, “Damn it, I got to get rid of ’em.” He didn’t want to get rid of ’em, but he had to. I mean, they’re doinking each other out there! You can’t have them on the investigating team. I mean, that would look worse than it already does. So they were sent packing. But nothing’s happened to ’em. Not a thing has happened to any of the people involved in this. There haven’t been any consequences. Some people have been fired. They have their pensions and so forth. But they’re still out there actively engaged in the project.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Max in Sandy, Utah. Great to have you. How are you?

CALLER: I am fine. It’s good to talk to you, Rush.

RUSH: Thank you.

CALLER: In the Mueller investigation — in fact, in all of the FBI involved in this conspiracy, if I may use the word, to undermine a sitting president. Now, they took evidence that they manufactured to the FISA commission to get what they did to him. This is illegal. But more than that, if proven, it will undermine the entire FBI for the last 20 years because anything these people have handled will be suspect and will be overturned in court because it cannot be trusted. This is gonna upend the entire government. (chuckles)

RUSH: Well, so —

CALLER: If they indulged in this.

RUSH: There are some people who believe this, and there are some who believe that’s precisely why nobody will ever really expose it, because of what you just said. If exposing what happened here causes a total breakdown, a lack of confidence, and questionable convictions that might be overturned and previous other cases, it’s too big a hassle. Nobody wants to destroy the integrity of the FBI. There’s a bunch of theories on that basis to why nothing is gonna happen. In other words, we’re not gonna learn everything here because the system couldn’t withstand it.

There’s also… I’ll tell you something else going on. One of the things that a lot of people are looking at is is all of the documents that the House Intelligence Committee has requested from the DOJ, the FBI, that have not been provided. The documents that, for example, Devin Nunes and Mark Meadows say will explain how this whole thing began. What was the actual beginning of this investigation? What triggered it? What did they do? The committee has been asking for this, for these documents for months.

Rosenstein is telling ’em to go pound sand. These are the documents that everybody’s saying, “Trump could release ’em any time he wants and probably will. Trump can unearth everything.” He can declassify anything that he wants, and people think he’s going to do it prior to the election. I want to share with you another school of thought out there on this that I have heard that says Trump will never do that, and the theory is, “The reason Trump won’t do it is because what it is is so damaging, so destructive to all of these people because of what they’ve done.

“The release of those documents will destroy the careers and lives of all these people have been involved in it.” This is the theory. I don’t even necessarily ascribe to this. I’m just telling you what’s being bandied about. It’s that Trump will never release this stuff because he knows it and everybody involved knows it, and it’s actually leverage for Trump, what he has on these people, the information. Everything they’ve done could be exposed, and it is this that is going to cause Mueller’s report to be, “Myeh! Not much.”

At the end of all this, there isn’t gonna be much damage done to Trump because these people need to protect themselves. I’m just telling you what is bandied about, what I hear. I’m not sure I assign much truth to that. But a lot of people — from the things I’ve heard, the people I’ve talked to — believe that that’s actually true. That’s what these people say. It involves Hillary. It involves Strzok-Page, all these people’s names you’ve heard: McCabe, Comey, Clapper, Brennan.

All the garbage they’ve done would be widely known and exposed, and it would be so damaging. It would be so damaging and so destructive that it would be counterproductive to produce it, that Trump having it to hold with the possibility of exposing it is what’s gonna keep these people in the end of things at bay. I don’t know if that’s wishful thinking or if somebody actually believes that, but it is being bandied about.
