RUSH: Do you remember, folks, the V hat rally, the vagina hat rally? Remember this? How could we ever forget? Trump’s elected. Shortly after, many women in America go crazy. And they have this worldwide — well, nationwide — protest and they’re all wearing vagina hats. Now, at this protest, the now famous former victim of Harvey Weinstein (well-known Democrat rapist fundraiser and bundler), Ashley Judd recited a poem written by a 19-year-old. And at one point the poem compares Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler. Ashley Judd at this vagina hat protest said, “I feel Hitler in these streets, a mustache traded for a toupee, Nazis renamed.”

Madonna spoke at this same vagina hat protest. Madonna said, “Yes, I’ve thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.” So last night on her so-called comedy show Samantha Bee — an accredited leftist lunatic disguised as a comedian — made a personal appeal to Ivanka Trump. She said, “You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say one thing, one mother to another. Do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless c—.” There it is, TBS, part of Time Warner empire.

I think it still is. “You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless c—.” By the way, they’re not her dad’s policies. She’s talking about the fact that families get split up when they illegally arrived in the United States. That’s long-held policy. That’s not something Trump initiated. But you’ll never hear the media report that. Remember Chelsea Handler?

She tweeted back in January, “Holy F—! Holy F—! I just saw the video of Trump’s bipartisan meeting yesterday. Hey, Lindsey Graham, what kind of [blank] sucking video do they have on you for you to be acting like this? Wouldn’t coming out be more honorable?” That’s Chelsea Handler to Lindsey Grahamnesty. Wanda Sykes — who wished that I would suffer kidney failure and die at a White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2016 in a stand-up act — said, “We elected an orangutan to run the country.”

But you see, all of that’s okay!

You can say anything you want without consequence if you are a leftist, anti-Never Trumper. That includes female feminists because all they seek is fairness, tolerance, equal pay, and equal justice. See, that’s all they’re after, so they can say anything they want. And Samantha Bee did in fact call Ivanka, “You feckless c—.” Well, the name of her show is Full Frontal, and she is going to be recognized. She’s gonna be given an honor, an award, for advancing social change by the Television Academy at its TV Academy Honors celebration.

So this is the American left: Lecture conservatives about the need for civility in our discourse. Yes! Warn conservatives that they are coarsening the culture with their horrible, insulting, racist, sexist, bigoted language. Which, of course, isn’t happening. We are not coarsening the culture. They are. This is what being a liberal is. Lecture conservatives. Tell them they need to be civil. Wring your hands and worry about what’s happening to politeness (sniffle) and tolerance!

Step two: You call the president’s daughter a feckless C-word because you don’t like her father’s immigration policy. And the next thing that happens is you get an award from other people who lecture conservatives about the need for civility in our discourse. And then step four: You fire Roseanne. These people get away with whatever they do. Dan Rather lies and makes up documents about George W. Bush. All of this filthy, in-the-gutter language insults labeling of people with whom they disagree.

They give themselves awards for being great social change activists. They run around wearing vagina hats. They compare Donald Trump to Hitler. Madonna runs around fascinated about the idea blowing up the White House. They all tell each other how wonderful they are, how sensitive they are, how polite they are, how focused they are — and then they fire Roseanne. Now, I’m gonna tell you something, something I don’t think the left understands.

I’ve been hoping that this would happen. I’ve been hoping this would be the case. And I think we’re getting there. During the Obama years, if Samantha Bee had said what she said last night or any of this other stuff — Ashley Judd — they would have been applauded, and they’re being applauded today. Except on CNN, they really had trouble with Samantha Bee. But they would not condemn her. They were more interested in, “Why? What happened? Why did she do this?” But there was no condemnation. I think the infobabe was Poppy Harlow.

There was no condemnation. There was just curiosity about what’s happening. In effect, they end up blaming Trump for causing people to become this way. Trump is making these people mean and so forth. But remember what I’ve always said, these people in the media on the left, the Samantha Bee’s of the world, the pop culture left, they believe one way or another that most of America agrees with them, laughs with them, applauds them.

I think all of this stuff is starting to backfire on them. And it’s silent. There will be no evidence that it is. The Drive-Bys will not cover this as they cover Roseanne. There will not be day-long, endless panels on cable TV analyzing what’s wrong with Roseanne, it’s all due to Trump or any of that. They try to cover up for people like Samantha Bee and Ashley Judd and get into in-depth explanations of why, what has caused them to behave this way. But I think most people are repulsed by this, or good percentage of people are repulsed by it.

In other words, I don’t think people watching Samantha Bee hearing her call Ivanka a “feckless C—“, sure there will be some in that audience that will applaud it, but a lot of people are not. And it is widely known these people are all Democrats. In the absence of a Democrat agenda, all they’ve got is this hate, and you wonder why the generic ballot advantage they had in January, if they really ever had it, the polling data said they had a generic ballot advantage of 15 points over the Republicans, it’s now gone. They wonder why.

They don’t have an agenda. All they’ve got is this hate, this hate for Trump, this semi-hate for America, this literal hate for you for electing Trump. And I’m telling you, you can’t sustain this kind of hate, and you certainly cannot build and grow. You can maybe keep your base fueled and with you, but you’re not gonna grow anything with this. That aspect of human nature hasn’t changed. And Trump is succeeding wildly. It’s not being reported. And, by the way, the rest of the world doesn’t know it. The rest of the world watches CNN International.

So the rest of the world, unless they make a special effort to find alternative news sites, really doesn’t know of the great achievements of the Trumpster. But they are happening, and they are real, and the people in this country are living them. And therefore they know it, and they’re aware of it. The Trump collusion with Russia thing has blown up, and now they’re trying to rewrite that. And what we are seeing, these childish outbursts of calling the president’s daughter a “feckless C—” and all that, this is the insane, unhinged rantings of people who know they are losing.

And when I say losing, I mean losing in their attempt to dredge up anti-Trump public opinion. They are trying to get rid of Donald Trump. They want to somehow change the outcome of the 2016 election. And as time goes on, the realization hits them each and every day that they are failing. And so they’re ratcheting up the radical extremism. And I think it’s hurting them. I think they have maybe — if not jumped the shark, they’ve crossed a line here, where who they are and what they are is beginning to repulse a lot of people who are not specifically politically oriented like you and I are each and every day.

RUSH: Here is the audio sound bite, Samantha Bee from her show called Full Frontal last night on TBS.

BEE: Ivanka Trump, who works at the White House, chose to place the second most oblivious tweet we’ve seen this week. You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say one mother to another: Do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless (bleep). He listens to you. Put on something tight and low cut and tell your father to (bleep) stop it.

RUSH: In case you weren’t able to make out the end of that, “He listens to you. Put on something tight and low cut and tell your father to F-ing stop it.” Now, Samantha Bee is ignorant. She doesn’t know what she’s talking about when she’s talking about immigration policy. In fact, most people on the left — I watched the most amazing thing today. I shouldn’t have been amazed by it. I should not have been. But I got sucked into it.

I don’t remember the guy’s name. He’s a Republican, he’s in the House, he’s on the House Intelligence Committee, very soft-spoken guy, and he was being interviewed by an infobabe at CNN. And this guy knows 30,000 times what this infobabe at CNN knows. He’s on the committee. He’s listened to testimony. He has seen the reports, all of this stuff. And she’s got it in her head, “Why are you people so upset with the FBI. They were just trying to protect Trump! I mean, if the FBI thought it was necessary to put a spy in the campaign, what’s your problem?”

I’m mind boggled by this. Because this woman, any other time in America, with the FBI spying on an American campaign, she would have been outraged by it. But now because she’s just on the same page, these people are not even thinking anymore. They’re just — I think they’re brainwashed. And to the extent that they need to be.

And this poor Republican was trying, in his mild-mannered soft-spoken way to explain things to her, and she was interrupting him, treating him like he was an idiot. Because he was not accepting her premise. And it was all about defending Trey Gowdy. It was all about defending the FBI, and why are you all so concerned, what are you trying to hide? I mean, it was the most amazing thing. And I conclude, they’re just ignorant.

In addition to everything else, you know, throw the bias in there. But they really are ignorant. They do not know. I am convinced 75% of the data, of the information on any given subject they are discussing, they only know 25%, that part they have been fed by other people in the media, like the New York Times or the Washington Post. And there’s no room in their minds for anything other than that. And this guy from the House Intel Committee was trying to explain to her why it was wrong, why the FBI shouldn’t have had a spy, everything we talk about here.

And she’s just acting like this is the biggest idiot she’s ever talked to. She hadn’t heard any of this. She didn’t know anything about this. I’m not gonna mention her name ’cause I don’t want anybody bombarding her. She’s not the point. She’s just one of a cookie cutter bunch. She’s no different than any other Drive-By infobabe or anchor. Dangerous. They’re genuinely ignorant. They think they’re smarter than everybody else. You couple that with the bias and the agenda they’ve got. I felt sorry for the guy, and I thought, why did you go there, buddy? You’re wasting your time.

RUSH: White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has released a statement following the profane comments of Samantha Bee on TBS, and this is the statement from Sarah Sanders. Quote, “The language used by Samantha Bee last night is vile and vicious. The collective silence by the left and its media allies is appalling. Her disgusting comments and show are not fit for broadcast, and executives at Time Warner and TBS must demonstrate that such explicit profanity about female members of this administration will not be condoned on its network.”

I tell you, you could not have a better press secretary and a better president that have your back and are fighting back every day at these people no matter what. And I guarantee you, these people are not used to being fired back at, folks. They are used to getting away with all this and then slapping themselves on the back. But, man, are they a profane bunch! They are so evil, they are so disgusting, and they are so unhinged mad, because they have been rendered ineffective! They can’t do what they want to do!

They can’t win an election. They can’t get rid of Trump. They can’t stop Trump’s agenda. They’re beside themselves! They’re lashing out. And then this profanity and all, this, “Notice me, notice me! You gotta hear me! You gotta hear what I have to say! I’m Samantha Bee, and — and — and I’m important, and you have to know what I’m saying!” And she just making an abject fool of herself; I don’t care how much her audience applauds.

RUSH: Michelle Obama. It says here, the U.K. Daily Mail says: “Now Roseanne smears Michelle Obama! Disgraced TV star claims first lady ordered ABC president to fire her while declaring she is ‘not a racist’ as her son posts texts ‘proving’ comedian did not know Valerie Jarrett was black.”

Now, the actual president of ABC — Bob Iger is the CEO of Disney. He’s the head honcho over everything. But the president of ABC is an African-American woman named Channing Dungey. And it is being said here that Roseanne says that Michelle (My Belle) Obama called Channing Dungey and told her to get rid of Roseanne.

ABC, for its part, is whining that Trump has not condemned Roseanne yet. You believe that? NewsBusters has the story. “Since canceling Roseanne on Tuesday, ABC and Disney have been under tremendous fire for even hiring Roseanne Barr given her long history of racism and unhinged antics. … ‘Tonight, President Trump, who celebrated Roseanne before … has so far not condemned her racist words,’ decried ABC national correspondent Matt Guttman as he played a clip of Trump touting her ratings.”

Instead, the president is tweeting about Bob Iger not apologizing to him. I love this. Trump’s up there (imitating Trump), “You know, Iger’s apologized about Roseanne, he’s apologized, but where’s the apology to me for all the things that ABC has said about me?” And ABC says, “Well, you haven’t even condemned Roseanne yet!” What does that matter, all of this condemnation stuff?

We’ve moved on actually to Samantha Bee, and let’s see if anything happens to her. Let’s see if there’s reciprocity here or anything like equity. Because Samantha Bee, this is not a one-off for her. You know, she’s had unkind things to say about Hope Hicks and other White House women. So it’s still plodding on.

RUSH: An apology has been forced from Samantha Bee. I guess we’re to accept that this is genuine, but it took a lot of attention on this before the apology was forthcoming. Here it is. “I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night. It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it.”

It was in a segment focused on separating migrant children from their parents at the Mexico-U.S. border, which is not Trump policy, it is the United States policy, and it’s done on purpose! This is typical, typical entertainment type left-wing ignorance. It’s like when that photo of the two illegals in a cage popped up and they automatically assumed that Trump is running a Hitler-like concentration camp, and they went nuts with it.

And then they learned that, no, no, no, no, that happened during the Obama administer. “Oh, okay, never mind, never mind. Well, we, of course, oppose this any time it happens.” But all the anger vanished, and all the being upset about it vanished, and there wasn’t any outrage at Obama. There was just some tail between the legs. “Oh, okay,” kind of like Emily Litella on Saturday Night Live, “Never mind.” Same thing with this.

They don’t even know. They have no idea what U.S. immigration policy is, legal or illegal. They don’t even know what they’re talking about, these people! They don’t know immigration history. They think that the border has always been open and anybody disadvantaged from anywhere has always been permitted to come in and that it’s only recently because Republicans are so mean-spirited that they want people to suffer.

They have no cognizance whatsoever of the impact on American culture they have because they don’t respect or even like American culture. They believe America is the problem in the world. And so we’ve got all these ignorant people that are sufficing late-night so-called comedians, they’re really hate fests, and these people have become official policy spokesmen for other brain-dead liberals in their audience!

And so Samantha Bee gets herself all worked up. First, I’m sure it was the kids in the cage photo, and then learning that families were being separated and then thinking what they already think about Trump and then adding to it what they already think about Republicans and having this knee-jerk, angry reaction of pure ignorance.

And then she sees a picture of Ivanka with her daughter, and it’s a beautiful picture, and that makes her mad. A mother and daughter picture makes her made. I guarantee you — did you guys see the video when Trump signed the Right to Try bill? That little boy who is suffering from advanced stage, I think muscular dystrophy, and Trump is signing the bill and the little boy is getting closer and closer and wants to hug Trump, and Trump doesn’t see that until the boy gets real close.

And the boy, figuring Trump doesn’t see him, backs off a little bit, but everybody else sees it and finally Trump looks up after signing it, figures out what’s going on, and hugs the little boy, gives him a kiss on the forehead. It’s just a melt-your-heart moment, and I’ll guarantee you that made ’em mad! Because they look at it and see Trump getting away. “Trump hates people. Trump hates kids. Now he’s getting away with looking like kids like him.” That’s the way they look at it. These people are so sick.

So she sees a picture of Ivanka, who, by the way, looks like perfection to a lot of women and it makes ’em mad, and then her little kid — (interruption) What, you doubt me on that? Or am I just not supposed to say that? Okay, then, I didn’t say it. Just ignore that. I didn’t say it. They look at Ivanka, they don’t like her ’cause her last name’s Trump, and she’s got a picture of Ivanka and her little kid and they look happy together, and that makes Samantha Bee mad.

So then she becomes, you know, such-and-such C-word. These people are unhinged! And that they have these positions of influence in the pop culture, bad for us. But notice nobody is trying to get rid of them like they are trying to get rid of people they don’t like. And then Samantha Bee said, “You know, Ivanka, it’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless C—.” Spokeswoman for TBS said the network would also be issuing a statement.

RUSH: I guess TBS has issued their statement. I’ve just seen it being discussed, haven’t seen the actual statement. But… Okay, so Roseanne does whatever she does; she apologizes and gets fired. Samantha Bee did what she did and apologized but is not being fired. She still has her show. The left is claiming, “There’s no double standard here! You have to look at each of these individually, and clearly Roseanne was filled with hatred, and Samantha Bee just made a mistake.” I would submit it’s the exact opposite.

How stupid do you have to be to do what Samantha Bee did within two days of what Roseanne did? How stupid? Well, she’s not that stupid. I maintain to you that savage, raw hatred — just the sight of a picture of Ivanka and her baby looking happy — drove her off the edge. (audio drop) And two days later here Samantha Bee doing the same… (interruption) You hear the mix-minus reverb in there? (interruption) Okay, we fixed it. So I guess Samantha Bee will remain employed on her show.
