RUSH: A couple of years ago, a group of courageous undercover journalists went on a mission. They secretly videoed what went on at several Planned Parenthood locations — and what they found was horrible and gruesome. It involved the harvesting and sale of aborted babies’ body parts.

In January, the Trump Justice Department announced they would investigate. Shortly afterward, Planned Parenthood’s CEO, Cecile Richards, Andmade an announcement of her own that she was going to resign.

Well, this past Monday, Ms. Richards officially stepped down, to big fanfare. Her daughter praised her for putting her “heart and soul” into the organization. Planned Parenthood thanked her for making the world a more just and equitable place. They said her legacy will not be forgotten.

And I couldn’t agree more with that. On Cecile Richards’ watch, Planned Parenthood grew to become one of the biggest abortion mills in history. After twelve years, she leaves behind a record of 3.5 million abortions, as well as the harvesting and sale of baby body parts that’s now under investigation.

It’s gonna be hard for anybody to top that. But sadly, Planned Parenthood will find somebody, somewhere, who wants to try.
