RUSH: Global warming advocates are frustrated. Even after “extreme events” like the hurricanes that hit Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico this year, many of you people are not buying the global warming hoax. You refuse to believe their horrible forecasts, like a recent report claiming global warming is happening so fast, the earth will be uninhabitable within ten years and we’re all gonna die. And you’re not buying it!

Advocates admit that 80% of media coverage on climate change has been framed in terms of disaster — and it’s not working. So now they say: it’s time to go “positive.” Their thinking is, if they stop bombarding you with doom-and-gloom scenarios and instead re-frame the issue, you might finally buy it.

How does “re-framing” work? Like this. Instead of negative talk about fossil fuels, the re-framed message will focus on the hundreds of thousands of jobs that could be created from renewable energy. They will ignore the millions of birds that are dying in windmills.

They also want to stop the “endless quibbling” with climate-change skeptics “over minor details of climate change findings.” Especially since those “minor details” expose their fraud. Instead, they want to put a happy face on their hoax.

Sound optimistic! Upbeat! And hope then you’ll fall for it. The problem is they’er liberals and don’t know how to do optimism realistically.
