RUSH: Interesting polling data from the American Spectator. It’s actually from the Morning Consult and Politico. They did the poll. Have you heard the old adage, before the Republican effort to repeal Obamacare began, “You’d better be careful! Better be careful! Whatever you guys do, you’re gonna own it.” Remember that? Not according to the polling data. According to Morning Consult and Politico, 68% of voters say that Democrats own Obamacare.

Sixty-eight percent do not blame Trump for higher premiums. It’s exactly as I thought — and, by the way, exactly as Trump said. Trump said, “The Democrats own this.” He said the political thing to do would be to let it implode, ’cause the Democrats will take the heat, the Democrats will get blamed for it. And turns out that he was prescient and right about this.
