RUSH: Trump didn’t say that Obama never wrote or called families. He said that Obama and other presidents didn’t do it as often as Trump does it. They didn’t do it as often. He corrected the way he said it later on, and then he asked, “Hey, you ask Obama, ask General Kelly if Obama called him after his son died.”
So, anyway, the issue is being ramped up. And it’s all designed, as far as the Drive-Bys are concerned, to show that Trump doesn’t really care and that he’s phony and he’s self-focused. He’s got this massive narcissistic ego, and he can’t stop criticizing Obama, which is gonna cause a knee-jerk reaction among the media anyway.
