RUSH: The story is from The Politico: “Notes From Meeting With Russians Said Not to be Damaging to Trump Family — Notes from former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort said not to be damaging.” That’s not good for the Mueller investigation and others who are invested in it.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Here’s the story from The Politico: “Notes from former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort on a meeting he attended last year with a Russian lobbyist and Donald Trump Jr. are not seen as damaging to the Trump family or campaign officials, according to government officials and others who have looked at the notes.”

This is the first time I can remember we’ve had a leak that actually helps exonerate Trump and his family, the first one! Maybe things are so bad the Mueller team is trying to prepare us for a letdown when they finally admit they didn’t find any crime. I’m just kidding, folks. They’re gonna find something. That’s why they’re doing the investigation, and that’s why it has no boundaries. They will find something.

“Officials,” anonymous officials “who have reviewed the notes say they are not likely to be independently vital to any case, if at all, because they are difficult to follow, particularly one year later. To be sure, the notes are not an exhaustive account of the meeting, and other things could have been discussed –” See? There still might be some things that the media doesn’t know. And then the next story in the Washington Times: “Mueller’s Probe Focusing on Potential Money Laundering Ties to Russian Oligarchs.” As I say, they’re gonna find something.

Hey, I just saw a number. There’s seven and a half million people in Florida without power.
