RUSH: Speaking of Hillary, she’s got this new book. Can you believe this? This woman obviously has not recovered. She’s doing a tell-all… No, it’s not a tell-all book. Her book is entitled What Happened. No question mark. What Happened. It’s a campaign memoir. It was revealed today by Simon & Schuster. They’re the ones that gave her $14 million for the other bust book.

The book is going to be published September the 12th. “The former secretary of state will describe what it was like to run against Trump as the first woman nominated by a major party. The publisher says Clinton will touch on Russian meddling in the 2016 election as well as rage, sexism, kooky theatrics, deplorable bigotry and an opponent who broke all the rules,” meaning Trump. Can I tell you how this book…? I can already tell you how this book is not gonna be truthful. I want to read to you just a brief passage from the book Shattered.

Remember this book? This is the book by two embedded journalists covering the Hillary campaign. They saved all the juicy details from the campaign for their book. It is in this book, by the way, that these two authors reveal that it was the Hillary campaign — within 24 hours after the election — that decided to launch this whole Russia-stole-the-election theme as the excuse for their losing. Here is a brief passage from that book:

Robby Mook and John Podesta, quote, “assembled her communications team at the Brooklyn headquarters to engineer the case that the election wasn’t entirely on the up-and-up. For a couple of hours, with Shake Shack containers littering the room, they went over the script they would pitch to the press and the public. Already, Russian hacking was the centerpiece of the argument.”

This is the details passage from the book that acknowledges this entire Russians-hacked-Hillary, stole-the-election, Trump-colluded script was hatched by Mook and Hillary and Podesta 24 hours after the election. Once again: “Mook had assembled her communications team at the Brooklyn headquarters to engineer the case,” engineer the case, “that the election wasn’t entirely on the up-and-up. [T]hey went over the script they would pitch to the press and the public. Already, Russian hacking was the centerpiece of the argument.”

Manufactured.

It was totally, totally manufactured.

Hillary’s next book isn’t gonna sell, either. Not nearly to the degree that there are expectations.
