RUSH: I have to tell you something. I haven’t cared as little about a Super Bowl as I care about this one, ever. This is Super Bowl 51. I don’t remember ever being this apathetic about the Super Bowl. Are you excited about the Super Bowl, Wendy? Are you ever excited? Well, okay, never mind.
What about you, Snerdley? Well, I know the Cowboys aren’t in it, but Snerdley has become a football — really, I am not interested in this. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know whether the rest of the news is so absorbing and dominating and is requiring so much attention, because, folks, I have never seen anybody, president, member of Congress, I have never seen anybody act as fast as Donald Trump is acting. I have never seen anybody attempt to implement as much, as soon, as Trump is going for here.
And then this whole business the way the press is dealing with Tom Brady and Belichick and the owner of the Patriots regarding their friendship with Kraft. I don’t know. And just the general way football is being reported in the past couple of years, I don’t know, folks. Right now I don’t know — well, I’m gonna watch it, but I am not doing anything special, and I’m not gonna turn the TV on much before kickoff. You know, I’m not getting into the spirit of the day. I’m gonna watch the game, and I’ll probably, depending on what happens — I’m expecting a rout, but I’m not gonna tell you which way yet. That’s another thing. I’m expecting the game to be a blowout. I’ll tell you which way I think it’s gonna go later on.
