Trump Starts Making Changes

RUSH: At 11:59 a.m. Eastern Time, the official White House website had a lengthy information page about the threat of climate change and the steps the federal government had taken to fight it. At noon, at the instant Donald Trump took office, the page was gone.

A Reclamation of America as Founded

RUSH: You couple the events of last night and some of the ceremonial aspects of the inauguration today that surrounded Trump's actual inaugural address, and there's no question there's a reclamation going on. I think this is one of the things the left knows, and it has them totally disoriented and discombobulated, and they're wandering in the desert.

Rush’s Coverage of the Inauguration of President Donald J. Trump

RUSH: I'm gonna tell you, some people are gonna skedaddle out of there as quickly as they can. So it's gonna be fascinating to tune in later and listen to some of the learned commentariat and the punditocracy analyze the inaugural address of Donald Trump today.

Rush 24/7 Stack of Stuff

No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.

Rush 24/7 Morning Update: New Normal

It was normal, years ago, to see America as the world’s leading economy and the world’s inspiration. America was the solution to the world's problems. We can make that the new normal again, and we will.

Liberals Do Not Think

RUSH: They haven't arrived at the things they believe by way of independent thought. They have been told to believe this. It's been indoctrinated in them.

Professor Advises Journalists in Age of Trump

RUSH: Journalism is about moving the Democrat Party agenda, and since that failed — journalism failed to move the Democrat Party agenda, journalism failed to destroy the Republican Party, journalism failed to destroy Donald Trump — journalism failed, failed, failed, failed, failed at everything they wanted to accomplish. And so they now need to rethink journalism.

Democrats in the Wilderness (And They Know It)

RUSH: It's a Politico piece written by Edward-Isaac Dovere… Now, the upshot of this is that they're in deep trouble, but the important thing is, when you read this, they know it. The media coverage is of a shocked and surprised and bamboozled party that doesn't know what hit it. Well, that turns out not to be true.

Obama’s Offensive Voting Lie

RUSH: Obama gave his swan song press conference yesterday. You know what he said at this press conference? This is the most incredible thing.

Democrats Fear Trump Will Succeed in Cutting Government

RUSH: A lot of people have a lot at stake in maintaining the status quo of mediocrity and failure while telling everybody they're working hard to fix things and never do. Somebody coming along and really fixing things, or dramatically improving things, that poses a great threat. Dangerous times, as I've been telling you.

Stop and Think About What Donald Trump Accomplished

RUSH: Their world has been turned upside down by somebody who, it was said, didn't have the slightest chance because he didn't know what he was doing. Because he's an outsider, and it's not possible for an outsider to come in here and hit a grand-slam home run their first time up at bat. And Trump has done all of that.

A Dangerous Act of Irresponsibility by CNN

RUSH: We all know that the Democrat Party is unhinged and their values are not ours anymore. They are a different breed now, and the same thing for the United States media. An act of utter irresponsibility occurred on CNN last night on Wolf Blitzer's show — an act of total derangement, irresponsibility, and danger. To me, what CNN did last night disqualifies them from discussions of journalism, from giving them serious consideration and credibility.

Rush 24/7 Morning Update: Repeal

According to the Washington Post, Republicans are having a “dilemma” about repealing Obamacare. The Post claims the idea of government health care is “suddenly in vogue.”

Who Needs Democrats at the Inauguration?

RUSH: There's now 60 of them, I think. Sixty Democrats are publicly bragging about the fact they're not showing up. Oh, guess who else has said they're not going? The haughty John Kerry, who served in Vietnam, wants to spend the last second in office negotiating something somewhere with somebody.
