RUSH: Robbie, Sacramento, my adopted hometown. How are you?
CALLER: Hi, Rush. As a woman, I feel embarrassed and degraded by the picture of the American woman that the media is presenting to the world right now through their inordinate coverage of the women’s march.
RUSH: Yes.
CALLER: And by presenting a picture of a very specific kind of woman, one of the requirements of which is anti-Trump, as normal, does a great disservice to the cause of women and the perception of women in our country and around the world. There are many elegant and classy women who do not share the personal hygiene issues that Ashley Judd apparently struggles with.
RUSH: Wait, let me ask you a question.
CALLER: Yes.
RUSH: What is the cause of women? You acknowledged that it hurts the cause of women. What is the cause?
CALLER: I think, to be more specific, for women to be respected.
RUSH: Okay.
CALLER: If you want to be respected, you need to behave in a way that is worthy of that.
RUSH: Okay. That’s helpful. So respect. I want to be respected.
CALLER: Who doesn’t?
RUSH: Yeah, but it’s nothing to do with my gender. I mean, I don’t want to be respected as, or because I’m, a man, but I realize I’m from the tyranny of the majority here, so I may not have the ability to relate to others. No, that’s helpful. I’ve always wondered, what is the cause? And this helped, that it causes respect. Helpful. I appreciate the call, Robbie. Thanks. I wish I had more time, too, but I’m out of it. I have to go. So I hope you call back.
