RUSH: Nicole in Cleveland.  Nicole, great to have you on the EIB Network.  Hello.

CALLER:  Hi!  How are you?

RUSH:  I’m great.  I’m really great.  Thank you.  Happy Thanksgiving to you.

CALLER:  Oh, well, thank you.  And I want to congratulate you on your new book.  I started with you a few years ago, and I was really I’d say most surprised by your humor.  And I’ve become a big fan.  But I’m especially impressed with your books.  And I have a middle school child and he read them and he loved them but my youngest child has really, really fallen in love with Liberty, and I wondered if you had put any thought into doing a nonfiction series of American history for older children.

RUSH:  Well, I can’t commit to anything, but one of the things that is happening is that people like you are requesting that we write books on American history for an older group to get into more of the actual historical, factual occurrences, because they are profound.  And it’s intriguing to us.  We always listen to the readers and listeners and what they say they want.  And it is an exciting project to do, as it exists now.  So, I mean, everything is possible.  Everything’s on the table here, and we’re intrigued by all of it.  And your comments especially I appreciate.  Thank you so much.

CALLER:  Yeah.  I think it would be great.  And, even if there’s some way you could put them up at the same quality and even have pictures of Liberty doing little pop-up facts in the margins.

RUSH: (laughing)

CALLER: I think it would really help make it interesting.

RUSH:  I appreciate the idea.  I really do.  Hey, look, before I run out of time here, I have to ask you: Would you like a new iPhone 7 or 7 Plus?

CALLER:  (giggling) Yeah, that would be great.

RUSH:  You don’t have to take it.  I mean, don’t feel obligated.

CALLER: (giggling)

RUSH: I’m offering one to every caller the last three days.

CALLER:  That would be really sweet.

RUSH:  Okay.  Do you have…? Who is your carrier?

CALLER:  I have Sprint.

RUSH:  Sprint!  Cool.  And do you have a particular color or preference size?

CALLER:  I don’t care on color.  Probably whichever one is the larger one would be great.

RUSH:  The larger one.  Okay.  Fine and dandy.  So we’ll send you a black iPhone 7 Plus that’ll work on Sprint. What you’re gonna get, is you’re gonna get an unlocked iPhone.  It has no SIM card in it, which means it’ll work on any carrier in the world.  So just… You have an iPhone now?

CALLER:  No.  I’ve never had an Apple product.

RUSH:  Oh, well, you —

CALLER:  I’ve got Samsung, and I’m (giggling) afraid it’ll catch on fire, so… (giggling)

RUSH:  You don’t know what you’re in for.  Okay, so you’ll take this to the Sprint store — take it in the box — and you tell ’em it’s unlocked and that it’s a gift and that you want to transfer your number from your current phone to this new one, and they will be more than happy to see you, and they’ll make that happen.

CALLER:  Oh, that’s so sweet of you. Thank you.  And my 7-year-old is over here yelling, “Ask him my question!” He wants to know, “How does Liberty hold his breath for so long.”

RUSH:  He doesn’t.  Liberty’s able to time travel without holding his breath.

CALLER:  No, when he goes invisible. He has to hold his breath to be invisible.

RUSH:  Oh.  Oh.  Oh.  Oh.  Well, he continues to breathe.  There isn’t a mammal that can hold his breath that long, other than a whale.

CALLER: (laughs)

RUSH: No, he continued to breathe while invisible.  And when it’s cold and you can see the breath he has to hide behind something else in addition to that.

CALLER: Okay, thank you for that.

RUSH: Now, Nicole, don’t hang up.  We’ve got to get Mr. Snerdley your address here to send you the phone.  You’ll have it on Friday if everything goes right.
