RUSH: Henry Kissinger had an interesting take on Trump.  He said Trump’s the most unique president-elect in his lifetime, and Dr. Kissinger has lived a long life.  He’s an old guy now.  And he said, “This president-elect is the most unique that I have experienced in one respect. No baggage.”

He has no obligation to any particular group because he has become president on the basis of his own strategy.  And you know where he said that?  He said that to Fareed Zakaria GPS.  Oh, Fareed, I’m sure, I didn’t see it, but I’m sure Fareed went batty.  Fareed Zakaria global positioning satellite show on CNN, and here’s Henry Kissinger (Kissinger impression), “The president-elect, you see, the most unique guy I’ve experienced in one respect. He has absolutely no baggage whatsoever. Where else in the world can a former –”  But he’s exactly right here.

Trump owes nobody anything.  He doesn’t have any fingerprints on any policy in Washington right now.  He’s not obligated to anybody:  Not donors, not lobbyists, not foreign governments.  So as such Kissinger says, “I think we should give him an opportunity to develop the positive objectives that he may have — and to discuss those.  We’ve gone through too many decades of tearing incumbent administrations apart. And it may happen again, but it shouldn’t begin that way.”
