We are learning more about one of the ISIS terrorists who slit the throat of an 85-year-old Catholic priest, conducting morning mass in France.

Nineteen-year-old Adel Kermiche was serving time in a French prison for trying to go to Syria to join ISIS. In March, he convinced authorities to release him. “I am a Muslim grounded in the values of mercy and goodness I am not an extremist,” he told the court.

French prosecutors objected, predicting there was a very strong chance the teen would go back to terrorism. But the judge bought it. The teen Islamic terrorist was let out of prison with an ankle bracelet  so could law enforcement could monitor his movements. He wore that ankle bracelet as he and another Islamic terrorist attacked the church. While displaying zero “values of mercy and goodness.”

As soon as learned of the attack, a teen friend knew it was Kermiche: “I wasn’t surprised. He talked about it all the time. He talked about Islam, the things like this he was going to do. He talked about the Qur’an and Mecca and he told me, ‘I’m going to attack a church.'”

It’s sickening to realize the French government had this terrorist locked up, but cut him loose. Then again, the Obama Regime has cut loose its share of radical Islamic terrorists, too, from Gitmo. Every last one of them is a ticking time bomb. We’re not safe, folks.
