RUSH: Dan Pfeiffer is senior White House advisor. Here’s in the press office, one of the spokesman guys. He was on Slay the Nation yesterday with Bob Schieffer. You listen to this. I mean, it’s right along with what I’m talking about today. Bob Schieffer said, “What about the politics of Obamacare? I mean, some people are saying that you may wind up with a Republican-controlled Senate and it’ll be because of Obamacare. Every poll says that Obamacare is still unpopular.”

PFEIFFER: The Republican argument of repeal is a political loser. What they are arguing now is that the seven million people who signed up through the exchanges and the millions more who got it from Medicaid and other ways, they’re gonna take health care away from all of those people.

RUSH: There you go! There you go! You see?

Those mean-spirited Republicans, they want to take health insurance away from people! (Obama impression) “I don’t know why anybody would want to do that. I don’t know what’s in it for folks who take health insurance away people.” That’s not what repeal of Obamacare means. The only people losing health care are people that voted for Barack Obama. The only guy responsible for anybody’s health care being lost is Barack Obama via HealthCare.gov, via Obamacare.

Gallup. Right here it is. “A major new Gallup survey suggests the Obamacare sign-up numbers are not as soaring as the White House claims. The massive survey, released on Monday, shows the number of uninsured indeed has fallen to its lowest level in years… The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index measured the share of adults without health insurance. That shrank from 17.1% at the end of last year to 15.6% for the first three months of 2014…

“But the numbers, released a week after the close of the health law’s first enrollment season, also suggest a far more modest impact on coverage than statistics cited by the [regime]. The administration says 7.1 million have signed up for subsidized private plans through new insurance markets, while three million previously uninsured people gained coverage through the law’s Medicaid expansion. Why the huge difference?”

Now, Gallup is just counting adults. The Regime counts children as well. But the point is the Gallup survey says that nowhere near seven million people have signed up. Nowhere near! The numbers are just flat-out bogus.
