RUSH: Pope Francis, TIME Magazine Man of the Year, Il Papa. Couple days, Vatican City. The pope held his weekly general audience, and during the audience, he issued a statement in honor of yesterday. Yesterday was the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Do you know what the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is? Well, the Lady of Guadalupe is rated as the patroness of the Americas, and the pope delivered a message to the Americas during his general audience on Wednesday, and this is it.

POPE FRANCIS (via translator): Mary’s embrace showed what America, North and South, is called to be: A land where different peoples come together, a land prepared to accept human life at every stage, from the mother’s womb, to old age.

RUSH: Oh, jeez. Did you hear that? Do you think they want to maybe reconsider this at TIME Magazine? The pope just came out for life in the womb. Oh! You don’t say that to liberal Democrats. That’s like showing Dracula the cross. And elderly to boot. Old age, both groups expendable, particularly with Obamacare, as they continue to wage war on the American people.
