RUSH: Here’s the Limbaugh Theorem on display, Face the Nation yesterday morning, sound bite number three here, Bob Schieffer speaking with David “Rodham” Gergen about the various scandals facing Obama. And Schieffer said, “David, you’ve seen a lot of controversies in your time in Washington, as the dean of conventional wisdom. We have this IRS thing. We’ve got the leaks investigation, all this stuff going on. How do you think the White House has been handling all this, David?”

GERGEN: Not well. I must say, it’s been a real surprise. We all think that they — the Obama people do a superb job running a campaign, but when it comes to running the government, they can be so ham-fisted. It really sort of boggles the mind sometimes.

RUSH: No, no, no, David. It’s on purpose. It’s by design. You might Google it by now, the Limbaugh Theorem. Google that, David, and you’ll find: Campaigning, constantly campaigning, that’s the way they govern. Obama will never be seen governing, that’s why it looks ham-fist, that’s why you can’t believe it. Obama has successfully constructed the scenario where all this stuff happens and he’s opposing it all. He’s against what the IRS did. He’s against what happened in Benghazi. He’s against all these leaks. He’s against criminalizing the reporter, James, he’s against all of it. He’s mad about it. He’s doing everything he can to find out how it happened and to make sure it doesn’t happen again. The low-information crowd, like that dimwit from Rochester, fall right in line and believe it.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

Here’s Samantha in Cincinnati. Hi, Samantha. I’m glad you waited. Great to have you on the EIB Network. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. It’s great to talk to you.

RUSH: Thank you.

CALLER: Hey, first and foremost, I want to thank you on behalf of my family for all that you do to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It matters and it makes a difference, and we just want to say thank you.

RUSH: I really appreciate that. Thank you very much.

CALLER: In regards to Obama owning his policies or not owning his policies, you know, here in the swing states, a big part of that is because Ohio Republicans pushed his policies. It’s caused a major upheaval in the grassroots who elected them in 2010. You know, liberty minded folks in Ohio in 2010 gave Republicans the majority, and they have beaten us over the head with it ever since. We have fought them on Medicaid expansion under Obamacare, which in 2011, 67% of Ohioans voted for a constitutional amendment preventing the state from facilitating any of that mandate, and we have fought them on severance tax increases on over 250 small businesses in the eastern part of our state, one of the most blighted areas of our state —

RUSH: I know, it is one of the frustrating things. You elect Republicans and then, at the end of the day, they end up joining Democrats to one extent or another in the advancement of the Democrat agenda under the guise of bipartisanship and having the Democrats like them.
