Rush Comes Up on “The Amazing Race”

by Rush Limbaugh - Apr 22,2013

RUSH: Last night on CBS, they’ve got this program called “The Amazing Race.” The guy leading the race happens to be a Dittohead. During a challenge segment where contestants were in Dresden, Germany, they had to answer questions set to the navigation feature of their car. Contestants Max and Katie and the car’s computer had this exchange.

COMPUTER: Which US president said, “Tear down this wall”?

MAX: John F. Kennedy.

KATIE: Select your response from the choices then hit send.

MAX: John F. Kennedy, right?

KATIE: Yep. Send.

COMPUTER: Incorrect, which president said, “Tear down this wall.”

MAX: Incorrect. I think it was Reagan. It’s Ronald Reagan. I was so stupid. It was Ronald Reagan. I knew that. I’m so embarrassed ’cause Ronald Reagan’s my favorite president. I’m definitely the cigar-chomping Republican conservative. Rush would be really upset with me for messing that up.

RUSH: On “The Amazing Race” last night the contestant Max failing to correctly identify who said, “Tear down this wall.” He said Kennedy. It was Reagan. When he found out it was Reagan he said, “I’m so embarrassed. Reagan is my favorite president. I’m definitely a cigar-chomping Republican conservative. Rush would be really upset with me for missing that.” Well, Max, yeah, I might have been, but not now, because you have helped in the outreach to the low-information voter immeasurably. Way to go.
