RUSH: Here’s the upshot of today. The Republicans in the Senate yesterday gave Obama a chance to take total control of the spending cuts, and he said he’d veto if the bill — it was never gonna get there, but he would veto it. He doesn’t want his name on anything that’s happening. Did a press conference today before the program started and said that the next six months, any activity that’s negative is gonna be tied to the sequester and the sequester happened because of the Republicans.

It’s the Limbaugh theorem in perfect, wide-open view. All kinds of negative stuff is happening that Obama has nothing to do with. He’s seen as fighting it. He’s still opposing these mean Republicans who are inflicting all of this pain on you, and six more months of it headed down the pike.
