RUSH: There’s a new Gallup poll out, ladies and gentlemen. It found that the American people’s optimism is at its lowest point since the Carter regime. Now, what difference does that make anymore? Remember how some people in the news media laughed when we said that Obama was the Second Coming of Jimmy Carter? Remember? We’re embarking on Jimmy Carter’s third term now, and American optimism is at its lowest point since the mid-1970s. Gallup says that 39% of Americans “rate the United States in a positive manner, which is the most negative outlook since 1979.”
Five years from now, things will be looking pretty good, and that just happens to coincidence with Obama’s abdication, if that happens.
Who knows?
Only time will tell.
