RUSH: Now, we know he didn’t mean to say what he said, but still, he said it. He probably meant to say, “There’s never been a day in the last four years that I haven’t been proud.” That’s not what he said. There has never been a day in the last four years that I’ve been proud to be his vice president, not one. This is doomsday talk. This is the kind of speech that you give when you’re retiring or when you’ve lost. People say you give your best speeches in a campaign when you’re conceding.
