RUSH: This is CNN this morning on American Morning. Carol Costello interviewed Richard Trumka and they were talking about Jimmy Hoffa Jr. and his remarks that the Tea Party are “sons-of-bitches” who need to be taken out. Costello said, “Listen to what Rush Limbaugh said about Hoffa’s comments: ‘What is this, “When’s Obama gonna repudiate Hoffa?” Obama wrote it for Hoffa!'” That’s what she quotes me as saying to Trumka. Here Trumka’s reply…

TRUMKA: I mean, look, that’s what he does for a living. He… he’s an entertainer. He’s incidiary. (sic) I mean, of all people to be talking about reconciliation, Rush Limbaugh?
Come on, cut me a break. The guy’s incidiary every day, and the truth never gets in his way.

RUSH: Incidiary? Is that what he said, incidiary? I am incidiary every day? What is that? What does “incidiary” mean? (interruption) That’s incendiary. He said “incidiary.” I never heard of the word “incidiary.” (interruption) Oh, it’s a new Democrat word, a cross between “insidious” and “incendiary”? Okay. So I’m incidiary. I’m incidiary. I’m back to being an entertainer. Okay. Different show, same network, the anchor Kyra Phillips spoke with Democrat strategerist and DNC member Robert Zimmerman about last night’s debate. She said, “Who had a better night, Perry or Romney?”

ZIMMERMAN: (yelling) If the goal is to play to the extreme right-wing fringe to win the nomination, then you gotta give the edge to, uh, Governor Perry last night, with his attack on Social Security as a failure and a Ponzi scheme and his complete assault on science as a valuable or useful, uh, technology or valuable and useful educational tool. Basically, he’s Rush Limbaugh with good hair.

RUSH: Ahhh. “Rick Perry: Rush Limbaugh with good hair.” I tell you what, I guarantee you Rick Perry is complimented by that.

RUSH: I have just been told that Trumka is going to be one of Obama’s guests tonight. Richard Trumka. Now, I don’t know if you know this or not: 500 AFL-CIO longshoremen have gone on strike out in Seattle, at a port — you haven’t heard about this? — and they have taken six guards hostage. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. The Seattle Times and the AP: “At least 500 longshoremen stormed the Port of Longview about 4:30 a.m., broke out windows in the guard shack and — as longshoremen wielding baseball bats and crowbars held six guards hostage — others cut brakelines on box cars and dumped grain, according to Longview Police Chief Jim Duscha.”

“Work is at a standstill at the ports in Seattle and Everett as a labor dispute that started Thursday morning turned violent. At least 500 longshoremen stormed the Port of Longview.” So the head of the AFL-CIO whose thugs took six hostages gonna be Obama’s guest tonight. (interruption) I don’t know if the guards are Tea Party members. Well, they’re clearly sons-of-bitches and they’re going down. I mean, it’s clear they took these sons-of-bitches out, these guards. Jimmy Hoffa’s out there having a party. Here’s Trumka, who runs this union, and he’s gonna be Obama’s guest. Obama is probably gonna tout unions out there tonight in his speech. And, yeah, he will not condone this “incidiary” act undertaken by Trumka’s people. Time for the motto, that’s right: “Resist We Much!”
