RUSH: Greg in Louisville. Great to have you on the program, sir, and great to have you on the EIB Network.
CALLER: Hi, Rush. It’s good to talk to you.
RUSH: Thank you, sir. When you made the comment earlier about the Democrats getting tired of Obama blaming Congress it took me back just a few decades to Jimmy Carter and Teddy Kennedy. It made me wonder what do you think it would take to get a primary going against this guy?
RUSH: Too late.
CALLER: Well, you know, no incumbent president has ever been reelected when there’s been a primary challenge, even though they squashed with the primary opponent, it never happened. You wonder if the poll numbers go too low, or maybe some of these scandals they’re just talking about now will come together, something could happen that maybe even a flake like Kucinich or maybe a serious person like Hillary would consider it if the numbers drop low enough. What do you think?
RUSH: Well, have you heard that Cheney has asked Hillary to run against Obama? Honestly.
CALLER: Right.
RUSH: Vice President Cheney has suggested that Hillary run against Obama. Of course, the Democrats are furious over this, that Cheney is inserting himself. So Cheney joins me, essentially, in Operation Chaos (which was, of course, to promote Hillary). I don’t think, Greg, there’s a Democrat out there that wants to be the one to make the first black president a failure. I don’t think… Let’s put it this way: If Obama were white, there would be countless primary challenges against him. He’s destroying! In the real world, folks, he is destroying not just the country, but the Democrat Party. Would you look at what happened in the 2010 elections, and it was all the way down the ballot to state and local races, not just in the US Congress. Obama’s destroying them, but he’s protected by his race. No white person in the Democrat Party wants that baggage. I don’t think it’s gonna happen, primarily because of that.
