RUSH: “Mitt Romney yesterday got a big thumbs up for his stance on global warming from a source that likely will not help him in the GOP primary. Al Gore, the former vice president and Nobel Prize Winner praised Romney for not heeding right wing calls to reject the science behind climate change. Al Gore wrote in his blog, ‘Good for Mitt Romney. Though we’ve long passed the point where weak lip service is enough on the climate crisis while other Republicans are running from the truth, Mitt Romney is sticking to his guns in the face of the anti-science wing of the Republican Party.'” There you go. So has been Romney endorsed by Algore on his stance on global warming, which is a hoax. There is no “settled science,” as I get blue in the face repeating this over and over again.
There’s no “settled science” whatsoever, proving manmade global warming is taking place. From The Politico: “Mitt Romney has put some distance between himself and the rest of the GOP field, claiming nearly a third of the primary vote in the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll. When tested against a group of nine other candidates, Romney takes 30 percent of registered GOP primary voters. His closest competitor is Sarah Palin, at 14 percent, followed by Herman Cain at 12 percent, Rick Perry at 8 percent,” not in the race yet and neither is Palin, for that matter, “Ron Paul at 7 percent and Newt Gingrich at 6 percent.
“Four other candidates — Tim Pawlenty, Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann and Jon Huntsman — are below 5 percent,” although the media on Michele Bachmann is just over the top. USA Today yesterday was just singing her praises like you can’t believe. A lot of places in the Drive-By Media are just fawning all over Michele Bachmann. It’s amazing to see. “In a smaller field of six candidates – himself, Paul, Bachmann, Santorum, Gingrich and Pawlenty – Romney’s lead grows even more formidable, to 43 percent.” So Romney’s lead is growing according to these polls. This is after the most recent debate performance and undoubtedly it’s the endorsement from Algore praising Romney for his guts in sticking to it on his global warming stance.

RUSH: Guess what? “The earth is facing a mini-ice age within ten years due to a rare drop in sunspot activity,” and yet Algore has just endorsed Mitt Romney. Well, he didn’t endorse him, but he’s praised Mitt Romney for his stance on manmade global warming. “Sunspots are expected to disappear for years, maybe decades after 2020,” and that could cause a mini-ice age.

RUSH: “Sunspots are expected to disappear for years, maybe decades, after 2020. The sun is heading into an unusual and extended period of hibernation that could trigger a mini-Ice Age on Earth, scientists claim.” I don’t yet know if it’s scientific consensus. Yeah, it could be a consensus here. That means it’s undeniable science, right? “While the effects of a calmer sun –” no sunspots “– are mostly good – there’d be fewer disruptions of satellites and power systems – it could see a sharp turnaround in global warming.” There isn’t any global warming. Do you know how frustrating it is each and every day to be told we’re in an economic recovery and we’re not, that there is global warming. You know, I can understand a bunch of brain-dead robots. Well, I guess that’s who they are, the media.
I just have this antiquated romantic view that journalists are genuinely curious people who suspect people in power, they are a little dubious and they seek to ferret out the truth.

RUSH: The United States experienced some of the most extreme weather events in its history this spring, including deadly outbreaks of tornadoes, near-record flooding, drought and wildfires. Damages from these disasters have already passed $32 billion, and the hurricane season, which is just beginning, is projected to be above average,” but nobody knows. “Government scientists said Wednesday that the frequency of extreme weather has increased over the past two decades, in part as a result of global warming caused by the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.”
You know, I… (laughing) I cannot escape this. There isn’t any warming — and even the polling data shows the American people now are up to speed. The vast majority of the American people now don’t believe that there’s manmade global warming and are questioning the whole process by which they were led to believe that there is. “‘Looking at long-term patterns since 1980, indeed, extreme climatological and meteorological events have increased,’ said Thomas R. Karl, director of NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center. ‘But in the early part of the 20th century, there was also a tendency for more extreme events followed by a quiet couple of decades,'” meaning this isn’t unique. It’s all happened before. We thought that manmade global warming and the extreme weather it spawns was “settled science,” but they continue to make the point that even what they believe is not etched in stone.
