On Monday, the Washington Post published an article claiming that if the spending cuts the House Republicans passed are adopted, they will cause more spending down the road.

For evidence they use a $600 million cut to the Internal Revenue Service budget. The Post cites an Associated Press report that claims: “Every dollar the Internal Revenue Service spends for audits, liens, and seizing property from tax cheats brings in more than $10, a rate of return so good the Obama[regime] wants to boost the agency’s budget.”

That according to the wizards of smart at the Post means the poor wouldn’t have to suffer heating oil cuts, and students wouldn’t have their Pell Grants cut if only the Republicans would leave the IRS alone.

Now, this is obvious idiocy but let me ask you a question. Why do you suppose Republicans want to cut the IRS budget?

The Washington Post claims the reason is “Republicans don’t like spending at least when they’re not in power and they don’t like taxes.” The truth is, nobody likes excessive spending or taxes except Democrats and their State-Controlled Media lackeys.

But there’s more to it than that. Namely: Obamacare. Republicans want to cut the IRS budget to prevent the IRS from hiring thousands of new agents to prosecute Americans who don’t comply with Obamacare. The Post – accidentally on purpose – left that out of their story. They are trained, well-behaved lapdogs of course for the Pharaoh-in-Chief. That would be Obama mmmm mmmm mmm.
