RUSH: Pittsburgh, John, welcome, sir. It’s great to have you on the EIB Network. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. Merry Christmas to you and Kathryn and the whole EIB family.

RUSH: Thank you very much.

CALLER: Thanks. Hey, the first time I had heard anything about this No Labels business was on Hardboiled. He had Charlie Crist on there, and the whole time he’s trying to get him to separate himself, pretty much put down the Republican Party the whole time he was interviewing him, but I kept thinking to myself the whole time, ‘Didn’t he just run with No Labels?’

RUSH: He essentially did. Charlie Crist was a Republican.

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: He was running for the primary victory against Marco Rubio. He was gonna lose so he switched and became an independent.

CALLER: Yeah, he tried to be an independent with No Labels because he —

RUSH: That is a great point. I mean Charlie Crist is the poster child of No Labels.

CALLER: Right.

RUSH: A loser.

CALLER: Right.

RUSH: You know, a Republican who’s fed up. Whether it’s a Democrat or Republican, losers end up joining this No Labels bunch. That’s your point, right?

CALLER: Right.

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: In a three-way race, Marco Rubio, he ran on conservatism and got 50% of the vote.

RUSH: Exactly right, and yet Charlie Crist is a model! They love the fact, the No Labels people. They sing Charlie Crist’s praises. ‘This is the kind of guy that we’re talking about, this is the kind of candidate that we’re talking about,’ and you so aptly point out he got skunked.

CALLER: Exactly.

RUSH: Well done, sir. John, I gotta hand it to you.
